Thanks for the update and link - my calendar is now marked for the date. I'm just now kind of appreciating a resemblance of the Gil Raptor's skeleton frame to that of a Bio Zoid, while the Liger's looks a bit like a smilodon. The clear pilots are interesting too, I guess better than a cheaply painted one. Is it just me or are the caps bigger in proportion to the bodies than we're used to? There seems to be more distinction to them too, beyond just the size and coloration I think they are supposed to convey the change in scale; the caps of a 1/72 wind-up would be the size of an SUV tire to us. |

They were supposed to be sold out in amiami, but they are on preorder again.
I will buy them phisically, but I would like to preorder them at the store.

A new character called Sauce, apparently a member of Supreme, has been revealed, and she looks pretty sensible compared to the villains (although one wonders how that hat stays on if she's riding a zoid). She's voiced by Ami Koshimizu, who seems to have a quite a bit under her belt. |

Looks like there's a new preview which shows off the raptors and the Fang Tiger! Interesting that Grachiosaurus is there. It implies the anime will deviate at least a little bit from the manga, since I don't recall Bacon having interacted with Arashi's dad. Seeing the neon poof at the end of the Fang Tiger's tail is making me wonder more and more if this is an armor swap of the Wild Liger. I suspect it may be, as they share almost identical leg designs and stuff. |

Ah so lovely to see like the manga coming to life. And we can finally confirm that yellow saber tiger picture above the desk seen in an earlier video is indeed bacons Saber. Interesting colour, quite wild style. I look forward to more exposure of it.

I went to amiami and they told me that there was no need to make a physical preorder, that there is going tobe enough units...
Let's believe them. Anyway I asked for the 23rd at work so I have that day free.

I kinda like it! I love the head (lookit those ears!), especially as it's so unusual to see a zoid with blue eyes. The 'backpack' looking thing looks kinda goofy, but I'll have to see it in motion, and the kit itself, before I make my final judgment. Also liking what look like Blade Liger-style blades there.
Also also really digging the music, hopefully it's this good consistently.

I like the music too, very tribal-sounding. The Saber looks okay, something about the head looks more streamlined and "natural" maybe? Especially, like you pointed out, with the blue eyes. The eyes on the Saber and Liger appear more expressive, and we see some sort of link between Liger and his pilot with the flaming eye, hmm.. |

The new Saber Tiger design is so much nicer than Wild Liger
It does appear to be the same base as the Liger! Although we won't know until the kit is revealed.
Did Wonderfest/a major toy show just happen in Japan?

Leon35 exactly that, he does look nicer than the Liger, although first thing I thought was BumbleSaber. But hey (although I am still sceptical about the whole smaller scale and clear pilots (clear white plastic can always have issues later on..) and the pilots riding on top..) I am always up for new Zoids, because this way at least we still get new Zoids (and they have to make up for the awkward years, Blox (some were okay, but floppy all around..) and Neoblox crap (not an actual flying toy, I mean Zoid.)
Oh and by the way did anyone notice this? I found that they kind of derived (although they are just beetles and such) some of the Wild ones from this from way back.

I just hope they make the Death Rex look great (wasn't yet baffled by what I saw so far, cause the silhouette has bigger feet, and the actual pic looked a little under dressed on the head armor..but hope it will be better than those pics)
