I like the Gabrigator's design itself but the action with the jaw chomping looks really awkward

Not terrible work, but it looks a bit like fan art. Why not build a model environment in O scale and roll with that?

I'm hoping we'll see improvements on them, but the posts make sure to clarify that these may not be the final versions. It'd take less than 30 minutes to make them fit in with their environment better, so here's hoping.

I do like the overall designs but I'm hoping to see some new types of critters. All the Zoids so far are species we've seen before; I'd like to see a deer or horse type or jackal or a new dino like Pachycephalosaurus

I'd love one, too. It looked like there was a Pachy in the manga but it's probably too much to hope it'll be included as an actual kit. It was only a background Zoid. A clean photo of the Gannontoise. Or rather, its skeleton! This looks rather bizarre to me, but I won't complain. I'd love to see what the skeleton looks like with everything opened up. It must be strange.

Crazy, but pretty cool!

Yeah, I thought one of the main point of Zoids Wild storyline, is recovery of Zoids fossil/bones, and reanimate them to do battle with other rivals/faction. So you would get a "bare" bone Zoids, and build it up with armor.

Yeah, that's the gimmick of the series~ To be more specific, what I mean by bizarre is that for the cannon to fire, the spine of the skeleton has to essentially "rip itself apart." This is an unsettling design, although it works for a mechanical animal. I admit the first thing that came to mind was the zombie dog from Chapter 7 of the Stand Still, Stay Silent webcomic (extreme gore warnings for anyone who looks it up.) We've also been given a new Gabrigator box image, which I'm assuming will be for the back of the box. I actually think this would work better as the cover- it's not as misfit from the background. Though I'd love to see that random boat removed. It kinda throws off the perspective.

Hi everyone, new to the forum (Always read it but never joined) but not new to Zoids (fan since day 1) I really do like the fact that new Zoids are coming, but I don't really like the pilots on top (was okay for the smaller ones back then like Gun Tiger etc) but the most sad I am about the new scale.. I just don't understand why they couldn't do it in the original scale.
Again I am glad new Zoids are coming, I just hoped it would be along the old lines. I like them all, except for the Blox for being not "real" Zoids and floppy blocky things..(did buy most, cause they did have some use etc, and wanted to stay "complete" Totally hated the Neo Blox (also known as the awkward years..) cause they were nothing like Zoids..
So had hoped on something like Rebirth or Original (the moment I saw the "new Ultrasaurus" I was like WOW!! but it is so small and I really don't like the gimmick (I know it's also for the kids.. But that Gary Gator or Gabriella Gator (haha) looks real cheap when opened up.. so not using that gimmick.
Sorry for the long post, but just a bit mixed, sad and glad at the same time.

Also what's with the whole G thing, Grachio, Gabri, Gannon etc Just speculation, but "gao" is the sound of wild animal growling, so they might be integrating that into the names. It comes up here and there, the sentai series based on wild animals was Gaoranger, the little feral kid in Final Fantasy 6 was Gao, etc.

Welcome! I feel you on pretty much all those points; the smaller scale is interesting, I'm still unsure how I feel about it, mainly looking at it realistically just seems EXTREMELY dangerous for the pilots being exposed like that, though it's not a new concept (Gun Tiger, like you said, also Neptune and other vintage Zoids)
Agree with you definitely on Garigator's gimmick. It is kind of a thing for kids. But I also rather like the Wild Blast concept, synchronizing of the pilot and machine, makes me think a bit of that sort of connection between Van and Zeke and possibly Organoids as a whole. And I feel silly not noticing the trend of 'G' names like you pointed out, lol.
Sorry if this was already speculated on but I do wonder whether Wild Liger will have an "evolution" of sorts to follow the trend of previous ligers, has there been any talk of this? Given the new style of these Zoids makes me wonder about CAS, Evolt, Organoid-compatibility...

Thanks Snowflake that sounds kind of logical actually, but still sounds silly as a name thought haha. Thanks LunarEchoes for the welcome, and that was also what I thought, furious Zoid battle, just have to aim at the pilot and be done with it Did indeed like the whole LZ Van relationship etc, but sometimes (ahem Fuzors, I was also baffled by the whole, "oh I love you Phoenix" Oh he's dead, "Hey Falcon, you're so much better than Phoenix" (and keeping in mind they had a whole episode being sad that Phoenix died..) Nope forgotten about him completely. But then again I also always thought of Zoids as sentient beings, and thus "live" animals. But they had no problem shooting them, "ah well just buy a new one".. "Hey look wild Zoids, let's kill them." Hey those Raptors were just minding their own business And yes also wondering straight away if there are possible CAS etc options, but as Ligers seem to be the main thing, I think that will be an option, knowing Tomy

The scale is mainly to fit the older models...If they have kept the old scale, they would be tiny!
