What is the IQ stat? Given how each rider has an IQ of 7 it doesn't seem to be a measure of intelligence.

Thanks a bunch for the info!

Some are motorized, some are windups from what we've seen so far. The windups will require you to manually adjust the armor. They're also a bit smaller in general, so more lightweight than the previous battery ops.

As for the IQ, they're not pilot stats, so the kids being... kids- isn't really relevant. Though it's certainly an odd stat to have. I also hope the maneuverability of the deinonychus is pretty up there animation wise, for all of its other stats being on par or weaker.

Maybe since these zoids are more wild and not computer controlled maybe the zoids themselves have a high sense of self will and intelligence, if so makes me wonder if they may have the “stupid funny” comic relief zoid

A few things I noticed thanks to the latest batch of info and pics:

1) This series takes place on Earth, not Zi

2) The Wild Liger actually has a gun. Aside from that one, the Tortoise and beetle both have guns, other than that, the rest seem reliant on melee weapons of "magical" energy weapons (you know, like Gil Vader's buzz saws that can shoot buzz saw beams at targets?)



I'm guesing the IQ stat is just like the other stats from prior series, ranging from 1 to 10, and represents the intelligence of the animal.

The Zoids IQ is 95 and 102, while pilot IQ is 7. It is certainly an odd way to quantify something.

I wonder why the Planet Zi concept was dumped. Earth was always an interesting piece of lore in Chaotic Century.

Sorry, I missed your point when this was first brought up. Not sure where the pilot stats were listed but there are two stat measurements. For the Zoids, anyway. Their box lists their individual IQ in their personal specs. Then they have a secondary skill chart that is just a visual graph of their strengths and weaknesses. Since large numbers don't scale as well, visually, the skill chart only goes up to 10.

I'm assuming this is what the pilots use, as well. So if the pilot has an IQ of 7 we can assume it's around the same range as the Zoids (100-ish.)

Ok, I absolutely love that they're hiding the on/off switch below the armor. That'll make these kits look so much better. I'm also diggin the included map and stuff. Thanks a lot for the link!

Seen the build video, I see the potential for mass marketing in the West, as everything is ready to be built. The photo app is ok, if you are able to create a fantastic backdrop.

The official twitter just made this post. Contains some basic specs on the beetle. Is it saying that it will also be released in June?
