I hope the show is set as a prequel to the original Zoids anime from 1999, or maybe before the Zenebas Empire as shown in the battle story.

Oh dear, I guess I'll have to return from my hiatus :/
Seriously, though, the kits look promising; if I can save time de-nubbing the plastic, by all means I'll take it! Basically the assembly process seems akin to Lego and other brick-based systems; only, I hope the instructions will be clear and not cluttered, as finding pieces may be a bit jarring at first.
As an arthropod-type collector, I'll definitely have to grab the Scorpear, kabuto- and kuwagata-type Zoids, although $30 a piece is a bit hard to swallow...
As for the anime, I'll probably watch it wherever available just to see the arthropods in action, but I'm still unsure if I'll actually enjoy it.

The $30 is only for the larger motorized kits so far, Wild Liger and Gilraptor. Given the insects are all smaller windups I'd guess they'll be around $15-$20, but we don't have official price tags yet.

IMO, the price seems reasonable enough, and I think the build will be easy enough for everyone - I don't know how many Western customers were put off that you have to cut the pieces down from the spruce; a VR app and Switch should help promo. Is TT taking whole control, or will it source to Hasbro for Western release? Hasbro could be the weakest link here.

I'm not sure we'll be hearing details about the international release anytime soon. That being said, Hasbro is less of a factor when it plans to release in multiple countries, primarily focused in Japan. Which'll have amazing support with arcade games, handhelds, dedicated store, etc. TT also has more international stores now, from what I've heard, but haven't looked into it myself.
I'm also not sure Hasbro would be largely at fault for Zoids ending support in the US, so much as Fuzors itself, which just had bad reviews in english-speaking communities. There's also just the possibility that there wasn't enough interest in Zoids to warrant it, which is more than possible for this niche series. But that's neither here nor there. Any international support is good at this point, and more than I'd think to hope for.
As for building, the baggies will have maybe 25 pieces each, so shouldn't be too hard to build. The Wild Liger has 54 parts, which is similar to Murasame Liger (51). 29 for the skeleton, 25 for the armor.

Hasbro doesn’t have a good track record when maintaining quality in an IP. And I’m not only talking about final product quality, but the marketing and excecutive decisions. Wherent they the ones who pushed for Fuzors? Cause as soon as Hasbro sees a gimmick, they try to run it dry, and Fuzors was a gimmick that just didn’t kick off over here in the west . So I’m not willing to trust Hasbro handling Zoids again, would much rather the US TOMY branch do it. They actually care about their toys and fans.
As to the new kits themselves and all the new stuff. It’s great they’re pushing it on so many fronts. But I’m mixed about the new approach, I can see it gaining some success, but I can also see it crash and burn. I really hope TT have planned ahead and have a backup Incase the first anime doesn’t reel in the results they want. But at the same time all this effort in their part is bringing attention back to the franchise, which has been sorely needed for many years now. And the toys themselves as models seem pretty neat.

The problem with using Takara Tomy's international branches is that they're still fairly small companies. They don't have anywhere near the distribution reach Hasbro does, especially outside the US.

Awesome, thanks for the link! Wonder what kind of game it'll have? The ZFX reminds me a lot of the old trailers, which I'm sure I've said before. It'll be interesting to make your own. Hopefully it'll have basic options like speed up/etc.
Hagure is Stray, right? So 'capture/subdue the stray Zoids' is one of the missions, and another says "Discover fossils sleeping in the mines" or something like that-

New design is nice. Just hope they are similar in size to my 1/72! I only have HMM, does anyone now how they will compare in quality?

I think comparing them to HMMs is a bit too much of an apples and oranges scenario. These are for kids. They're not going to have the level of detail and complexity of an HMM. Not even 1/10th or 1/20th of some of them, actually, going by parts count. They do however share the HMM aesthetic of "holes and lines EVERYWHERE" for the armor at least, and they'll thankfully not be too displaced among host 1/72 (HMM I'm not sure, since their exaggerated proportions make them a smidgen taller.)
We won't know how well they hold up when you're actually messing with them, but they seem to do alright in the videos, with a bit of poking and prodding of the uncooperative Liger.
