I find these are the most common parts to be missing from used Zoids and would be brilliant for custom builds, not only in Zoids builds but other stuff too, someone somewhere must sell them in packs surely? I can't find anything on ebay so if you know how to buy any can you please help me and let me know? Thank you!

They're the only part you can guarantee you'll have some left over from every kit, so in a way they're the least in demand. I think the most difficult part is casting in rubber.

Probably, the hard plastic Kotoboukiya HMM ones would be fine too. Does anyone know anything similar perhaps from Gundam etc..? All I can think to do now is cut up Wall plugs!

Going alongside with this question.
Has anyone used the replacement sheet that comes with every kit?

I hoard my caps because I can never be sure where I can collect matching sets for my customs. As for the HMM caps, they CAN work, but it depends on what you are doing. I found that they do not fit the pegs of the bat-op kits easily... when I build Wolvereaver, I had to sand down every peg that I placed a plastic cap on. I'm not sure about the windup sized caps... I should try that. Either way, casting sets of caps in resin might not be a bad idea.
