True, ethics wise I don't like it. But the very same thing can be said with the ethics of third-party sellers driving the price up astronomically, thus leading to the potential of more knockoffs popping up. It is a bit of a catch 22 Yea but even if the price is jacked up by other sellers the main company still got its money for the item vs everyone buying a stolen knock off and then receiving no money plus those who spent money on a rare zoid such as the limited clear CAS it won't be as special with cheap knock offs cause everyone will have one I do agree, don't get me wrong. In this case, absolutely. The high prices cause the knockoffs to exist, but in turn cause the companies of the real thing to consider the lack of interest due to people buying knockoffs. I am mearly speaking of knockoffs in general. In terms of zoids, the quality has been very inconsistent, compared to the real deals. Sometimes ya get one worse than the original, sometimes better. I hope i haven't offended anyone or anything. |

well also these aren't HMMs, right? which is especially good news for those of us who would rather just stick with the old kits thanks.. They are still the HMMs, unfortunately. I agree it would be extremely killer to get a holo version of the original liger zero sets! |

I'm late but didn't realized Koto made a clear CAS set. I have only the base that came with the Bluray set.

It's always interesting to see how different fandoms and collectors treat third party and knock offs. I always get whiplash coming anytime I bounce from Transformers (where third party and knock offs have a long history and are not only accepted or even often considered better than the official versions, but actually forced the official brands hands to make better products to compete) to Zoids, which tends to have a more traditional anti-bootleg stance.
Would be interested to see how these compare to the official holos though, Zoids bootlegs tend to be all over the place in terms of quality.

I don't mind bootleg versions that are well made of prodcuts that don't exist. I but transformers from 3rd comapnies or even KOs that have very good quality.
I like clkear and chrome zoids. How about the price?
