I just got around to opening my hmm liger zero brand new sealed in packets/box and was a bit annoyed to find the armour parts are cream not bright white! Is this normal? They're in sealed wrappers so it can't be age related can it? Cheers!

Well the original kit was slightly offwhite, slightly bleached-bone color. Not sure what the HMM is meant to look like

Kind of very bright cream... I don't think Kotobukiya likes "just white" much.

Cheers guys! Anyone have a pic of a unpainted assembled HMM one handy? I just need to know whether to fork out for more spray paint or not! LOL.

Yeah, it's supposed to be off-white, you didn't get a defective one or anything, that's just the color Liger Zero is actually supposed to be. There's photos of every HMM kit over at Dalong.net, a Korean site that's probably the best resource for model kits produced by Kotobukiya and Bandai that exists right now. Here's the Liger Zero gallery. I have mine built in front of me, and while I intend to paint it, I'll be painting it the same off-white color. (It's what I'd call either eggshell or bisque, if you want to get fancy with color names)

Thanks! Did some research too via you tube and I'm not crazy about the off-white so I've ordered some white primer and gloss white spray paint. Mean while I spraying 90% of my HMM IKPK hammer black and just leaving a few red bits to simulate the Schwartz version I couldn't afford.

Awesome, make sure to take pictures! I've always thought the look of pure-white zeros is special somehow, the few times we've seen them
