So for years I've wanted to make a custom zoid, not just a repaint but with custom parts.
Now I have a half painted Liger Zero that I am going to have clean off again for like third time to remove the acrylic paint for hours, not too happy about that but it needs to be done. But here is the sad part, while I was remodeling my room I had put my Zoids in a box and had them on my mom's bed for her to put in her closet so we could repaint my room. Well I opened the box the other day and, I am missing a blade to my Liger Zero Schneider which makes me sad because now he looks useless without one of his face blades, my red horn is now broken, my bio ptera is broken and my Mugen Liger is broken. So since four of my Zoids are broken I was thinking about making a new Liger Zero with the broken parts of my other Zoids. Now here is where I run into a problem, I want to paint my Liger still even after I scrub off the acrylic paint that is on it now. So should go out to hobby lobby and just buy a can of spray paint and just spray painted it or just put a lot of hard work into hand painting it again? What do you guys do when you customize your Zoids?

Well, I try to get parts down to their foundation if possible; every new layer of paint or glue takes away from the surface details of a kit. It really depends on what you are seeing as your final presentation. I've killed more than one nice build with a quick paint job... you just can't undo "quick" on an item you want to display long term.
