Hi there! This is my first post here so let me know if I'm doing anything wrong For the first time in about a decade I decided to take a stab at customizing again. Here's a finished pic of my Command Wolf, meant to have a heavily worn/rusted look to him - missing pieces and all. Let me know what you think (I already know his feet need lots of touch-up spots!)

Welcome to the forum! Real glad to see a new face here.
Your Command Wolf custom looks great! They definitely look like they've been through some rough times. I really love that ruddy red you used and the brush effects are awesome. I haven't been very adventurous with my paint jobs before. The most I've painted something was my HMM Irvine Command Wolf; changing the bluish pieces to gray to match the show colors. I always do touch ups and detail work on HMMs and things like that but I really should try something big like this; it's inspiring!
I hope to see you around for a long time to come so we can see more of your work!

Thanks so much, I really appreciate the support! Very glad that the effect is convincing enough too I'm pretty new getting back into this whole thing, but have some HMM kits on order, so it'll be fun trying some custom work with them too. Will definitely post the results!

Looks really nice! A nice paint job can make a $15 toy kit look as good as a $50 HMM kit. ^_^ (poor thing; you'd expect that someone would take better care of such an expensive piece of equipment!)

It also kind of looks like well-loved antique wood, as if this is some kind of incredibly posh station wagon wolf

I've always loved metallic/rusted/beat up paint jobs! Makes the zoid look like its seen a lot of action... and of course, I love Command Wolves. ;-)
