I thought I had posted this...but apparently I didn't. Here it is! Last year I accidentally bought a couple of STK bootleg D-Style kits on Ebay and didn't realize it until they had already shipped. Through a shipping mishap, I ended up getting a Gundam Wing bootleg along with both of my STK knockoffs (the Bladey and a Death Saurer), and the seller was super cooperative. I wasn't too mad about it since I got 3 kits for under $20 USD. I decided I was going to repaint and customize the Blade Liger I had, changing it from Van's Liger from Chaotic Century to the Liger of Leon Toros in New Century Zero. After a bit of work, I finished it up! I had to do a lot of work getting parts to fit, as the tolerances for some pieces weren't that close. In the end, I got it all together and it looks good! The repaint, panel lining, and handpainting of the smaller details took me about 2 weeks to complete. I think it took me a couple days to get the parts to go back together after I painted everything. After I painted the kit, the cockpit no longer looked good. I decided to outline it with stickers from Lego sets I've collected over the years. Trimming these tiny bits was a pain in the ass! I enjoy this little guy! This was my first complete model repaint, and I feel like I did alright (especially considering I used red on a blue base!)
