Porting from Zoidspoison because it's so insanely rare.
Anyway, the auction: www.ebay.com/itm/Zoids-Rare-black-Limited-Liger-hasbro-New-But-No-Box-/181615453339?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2047675.l2557&nma=true&si=Tqtb2Qc%252B5jKfVGPeGF1hZHDZfS0%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc
The pics: Opening the box:
Instructions
A look inside instruction booklet. Yes its pics are in purple. Correct me if I am mistaken, I think the red-orange Hasbro Blade Liger has green instructions?
The back page of the instruction booklet, if anyone is interested in the paperwork
Motor Close up
Motor, black, two AAA batteries. I had a brief scare of the motor not working but silly me, I was lazy and tried old batteries first. I busted out some brand new ones and the motor came to life!
Stickers. Sorry I had Hell getting these to take. I don't have my red-orange Hasbro Bladeys sticker sheet handy to see if these are the same or not. Number is RZ-028
Another view of Sticker sheet plus cockpit/canopy and yes a BLUE PILOT! I don't think the red-orange Hasbro Bladey came with a pilot at all. I cannot recall what the Blade Liger BI'S pilot is
This plastic baggie contained sprues C, G-1 and G-2 and 24 grey rubber caps
This contains part sprues I, E and F. Yes the feet and fangs are plastic.
A close up of the writing on a couple of the sprues. Black has a symbol that looks kinda like the at @ symbol but has a letter C instead of @ and says TOMY MADE IN THAILAND. the silver parts has the strange symbol 2001 Tomy then right under that, strange symbol 1999 SHO-PRO.MBS.JRK
Part sprues A, D, and B. No I have not a clue on why part sprue A has a small piece of bubble wrap literally taped to the sprue itself. No parts are missing, nothing loose, or broken. Strange.
All the parts laid out on my study table
An up close of the blades. I really like these its such a brilliant silver they dang near glow, and look white in certain light
Ok that's it for now. I have sacrificed two hours of valuable study time (full time nursing student) to properly and carefully check over parts to make sure all is here (except for the box. sniffle.), and try taking these photos and posting the darn things. I am terrible with technology. I will do my best to post pics of the built kit, but it may be a few days yet. Enjoy!
TheFlameCrow. Yep, has 24 light grey caps. Thought they were in a pic above, maybe I over looked them.
I believe the only thing missing is the box. It has all parts, stickers, caps, instruction booklet, working motor. Just not a box. The seller says he did have it too but in effort to save space he went through his "toy vault" as he calls it, and threw out nearly all boxes. Even says he is surprised that the Gravity Rex he recently sold had its box.
The sole difference I can see at first glance is the plastic feets and teeth, that are silver, as it was suspected.
Setting it up:
Step one has us putting on a few parts on the bottom side of the motor, over the battery compartment. Purpose is to get in the way whenever you place/remove batteries:
Step two has us place the motor within one part of the body cavity and applying the parts that make the jaw open and close:
Step three is to apply the tail and step four, the other side of body cavity. We initially messed up and put the Shield Liger tail on. I kinda wanted to leave it. If you ever google the limited Blade Liger's box art, it looks like the zoid actually does have a Shield Liger tail instead of Blade Liger. But my cousin would have none of it and carefully took the zoid apart and put the Bladey tail on. thankfully we didn't get too far into the build before we caught that mistake.
Step five is a simple one, just applying what I call clamps to hold the body halves together, and the hose like parts that fit behind the head
Steps six and seven are putting the blades together (6) and applying them to the body (7)
Step 8 the lower jaw is applied
We skipped a pic of step nine (assembling head) to bring you a pic after completion of step 10, putting head on body:
We sorta combined steps 11-16, building the legs, to show you the legs after they were completed, before being applied to body:
Steps 17-22 are the legs on the opposite side of the body:
Now the zoid is able to stand. Almost complete:
After completing step 23- putting the booster together- and after step 24- applying booster and the last little bit of armor, the unit is complete:
Another shot in natural light, in attack mode, as Rayse Tiger calmly watches. We built it earlier that day, as practice, before handling this uber rare Blade Liger
One more shot:
So that's the Hasbro limited Blade Liger. It looks just like a BI, with silver feet and fangs molded in plastic, rather than BI's metal gold feet and fangs. I'll take some pics later if the Hasbro Bladey in its new home, and with my BI. Remember we built this at my cousins home yesterday. I got home to my place around 11pm last night and decided to be safe I'd just let the Blade Liger camp out in my car. Didn't want to take ANY chance of dropping it of having a part fall off. Not that its loose at all. In Fact its one of the best quality kits I have built in a very long time.
Another view. The only difference I see is the feet and fangs, with Hasbro being silver in color and plastic, and BI being made of metal and gold color:
A closer look at colors. Other than the obvious feet and fangs differences, there is a subtle difference in the color of the blades. To me, the grey armor is identical. But the blades of the Hasbro liger, on left, is a lighter, more light reflecting silver than the BI, on right. Sorry I must have twitched a bit when I took the pic, so its blurry, but you can still see the color difference:
Different lighting, another shot:
Attack!
Twins? Which liger is which?
Ligers are Like Potato Chips:
Gotta have more than one!

My Christmas gift to myself arrived today: the Hasbro limited Blade Liger. I am going to try to share some lousy photos with ya'll. I just don't have a lot of time, patience or a good camera to post a lot of pics. I have one of the cheapest Nikon digital cameras on market, and just got an I-phone recently. I don't know if there is a way to post pics from an I-phone to ZP? zoids Fanatic. Thank you. Please don't expect much of a review tho. Sadly of the over 200 zoids I own I have yet to do a review, lol. I rarely RARELY post pics. Because I am pretty much technologically stupid. TheFlameCrow. Yep, has 24 light grey caps. Thought they were in a pic above, maybe I over looked them.

Ok so my little cousin, who happens to be turning 16 today, and also is a fellow zoids fanatic, and I built the limited Blade Liger yesterday. We took several pics to attempt a review of sorts. Neither one of us have done one so I hope this works out. I took the zoid to his home to be built- he has a lot bigger work area than myself. So here we go: Setting it up:
Step one has us putting on a few parts on the bottom side of the motor, over the battery compartment. Purpose is to get in the way whenever you place/remove batteries:
