Hey everyone, I'm Gino from sunny Queensland, Australia (my real name is Dean, but all my mates call me Gino). I've been a Zoids fan for about 15 years now, although I've only amassed about 10 or so Zoids. My first contact with zoids was back in the late 90's when my brother got a Cannon Tortoise and a Pteras for his birthday. A few years later I found myself watching the first episode of New Century Zero purely by chance, and I was hooked.
Unfortunately, my zoids and I have had an on-again-off-again relationship, bringing them out for a few months at a time till I got sick of the weird looks my parents gave me and put them away again. Now, however, I've brought a few of them out again and I'm going to try to keep them out (I'm currently having a late-onset rebellious stage where I couldn't give a rats behind what they thought of my interests).
I'm not going to go to town posting photos of them, because really, they're not what you haven't already seen a million times. The only difference is that 4 of the 5 I've dug out of my wardrobe don't have their legs attached, purely because I dont use their motors and the leaning business they have going on is irritating to me (plus theyre almost all bipeds and likely to fall over). The fifth Zoid I have might be of interest to some of you though. I used to have a Leostriker and an Evoflyer, but Evoflyer was awkward in both modes and Leostriker in it's Ultimate (and more attractive) form looked like the lovechild of a rodent and a gorilla, so I decided to put the two of them together. The result is what I call the Evo Striker, which I will post photos of when it's not 1:30 in the morning . I don't think of it as a "fusion", per se, I think of it as more of an evolution of the Leostriker and a bit of a chimera.
Anyway, enough yakking from me. Time for me to hit the sack before I do anything stupid
