Pics of the new, full color BF were posted on Hobby Japan: Things I noticed: 1) There is a clear stand under the armored BF, indicating to me perhaps it cannot stand unassisted. 2) a dark gray "band" can be seen on the "eggbeeter" tips when they are folded back, but not when they are opened, indicating that they may be used to keep the blades aligned. 3) the overall look of the legs, with or without armor, appears to be much more spry and agile looking than the original (which I always thought just looked too bulky and ungainly)

Better? The contrast between its bare digitigrades and the foot armor kinda makes it look like the feet are huge, but looks pretty sweet otherwise. Definitely better than the HMM Genos. It sure as heck better not need the stand to stand though.

He looks pretty cool overall, but...I dunno, some parts of the Fuhrer are a bit strange, namely the very bare ankles and the elongated thighs. I love the fury, it's easily my favorite zoid, but I can't help but notice these things about him. Maybe it's just a matter of getting used to it...

I don't like his thighs or feet either. He looks oddly proportioned.

Hi, don't mind me, just the bearer of bad news here. Squinting I believe I see a price... and it's a big one. 9250y! Ouch! That... that doesn't even make sense! Iron Kong was barely 600y more.
Genobreaker was 8800y though...

Either way, I figure that to get one of the big kits shipped to the USA costs between $150 to $200 USD. I imagine that a full blown HMM Gojulas with CP (if they bother to actually build it with the guns) will be in the $200 range.

I think the photographer basically had the right idea but didn't know BF is unfortunately more or less plantigrade and shouldn't be posed like that. If you pose it more like the original model its ankles will probably look better. overall this is.. whatever the opposite of a disappointment is. I was expecting it to look really weirdly proportioned like the geno

Turned out rather well... I love the look without armor almost more than armored.

Love the tail pincher, and yeah, I'm glad that the naked form turned out well; that's what I was banking on, anyway.
