You know, despite my disdain for HMMs, I was actually looking forward to the Berserk Fury . . . but man, that thing looks UG-A-LEE! I mean, the buster claws look awesome was one would expect, but I think the designers really dropped the ball on this iconic zoid. The face is too flat, the tail doesn't taper enough, and the femur (the thighs) are disproportionately long. Here's hoping the actual model will look better.
The Panzer looks pretty cool though.

Aw, screw it! My internet is acting up...
HMM Fuhrer- Good but has weird proportions like Chuckles said. Hopefully the final version will be better.
HMM Shadow Fox- A definite want! Unless I can find a cheap chromed windup on YJA (yeah right...)
HMM Panzer- We'll see how much room I have down the road before I start investing in LZ armors..... Too much higher priority items right now.

That Fuhrer is just an illustration, right? That doesn't look like a photo

Correct. And the video did show a prototype of its head itself (which does indeed look a bit better), though I'll still reserve final judgement until the actual model kit is officially released.

Fuhrer looks mean, I'll give it that. I love the newer, aggressive armor detailing, but it looks less like a T-rex and more like a raptor. Like the Geno, it suffers from "stretched Lego-pear-saurus syndrome (too small at the head, too blocky). It would still make a nice kit, but a ball has been dropped. I wonder if that's because the designers were having trouble with weight distribution on the joints?
Panzer looks great, though, and the not for Fox is welcome... nice to have a smaller kit coming out again.
No new word on Gojulas is kind of surprising, though, since they were previewing future kits and we have already seen working sketches.

Surely it can't be a weight distribution thing, since that mattered MOST on motorized walking kits, and so far HMMs have all been slenderer than their stocky walking-zoid counterparts.. then again I guess something with a lot of posable joints has different balance needs than something that has to walk without falling over

Exactly; the bat-op kit is made of sterner stuff, and with simpler joints (almost all are hinge or barrel joints). I'm guessing it takes a bit of work and slendering up to make a theropod HMM with body armor stand well. But, then, we can look at the Naomi custom and cringe....

Wait, what's wrong with the Naomi Sniper?

Look at it as a blueprint for weight distribution and balance. Yes, it is SUPPOSED to be over the top, but if Koto can pull off that thing, BF should be no problem. Besides, if they can pull off Geno Breaker, Sturm Tyrann should be no problem.

err. Are you sure you mean Naomi's, rather than Leena's, given the context?

Finally! the Berzerk Fury is starting to show up and with the Panzer and Fox coming out, I'll be brokes but it's worth it.
