First, just said Happy Chinese New Year to everyone.
Since this year is a year of dragon, so-

Howling Thunder is actually a damaged and abandoned Inferno Kaiser, Republic has retrieve it and analyze it. After Republic has get all the data they want, they just recover it and use it to against the Empire Combine NBZ. Since the armor and weapons has been seriously damage, but the body and Zoids core has almost no damage, Republic just use their NBZ's parts and weapons to repair it.
Unlike Inferno Kaiser, Howling Thunder don't have heavy weapons all over it's body, but got much more armor with electric shield inside it. Also add a pair of wing to increase it mobility and speed. The strongest attack is send all the electric that generate from the electric shield into the body, then focus all the electric and shoot them out from it's mouth. Because of this attack, Howling Thunder got it's name.
Close combat mode?
Same as Inferno Kaiser, it can stand by it rear feet.
Like everyone can see, I just base on the old Inferno Kaiser, then use mainly NBZ 1-3 as it's parts. It is not any kind of new of good build, and there has so many things I should do or add on to make it look better. But time and weather don't allow me to do that much, and that's why it end up like this. Still, I feel it more complete than Inferno Kaiser. Just hope everyone will enjoy it.

With the original, Howling Thunder little bit shorter, cause the feet is using different parts to build, but it will be more stable than Inferno Kaiser.
