Nick: Zodd Real name: Will Birthday: 1986/07/20 City, State, Country: Varies. Hometown: Rome, GA Occupation: Air Pirate. Website url: N/A Hobbies/Interests: My wife, music, flight, football, lifting, running...kinda, books, games, MMA and other various forms of ass whoopin', Anime, and of course Zoids- The reason why I'm here. Favorite Zoid(s): In no particular order: Command Wolves, Lightning Saix(Plural...) HelCats, Gun Snipers, Rev-Raptors, Shadow Foxes, Konig Wolves, and my absolute Fav' The DiBison. Comment: In love with Zoids since I was a young teen and Zoids Zero and CC were coming on Toonami and early morning CN. Had to record them on VHS back then because of extracurricular activities in middle/high school. (Showing my age?) I had a pretty substantial collection of Zoids that I gave to my Wife's nephew back when I was 18 before college. Huge mistake. He broke and threw away all of them. And now that I am beginning to collect them again, I see just how stupid I was... They are EXPENSIVE!!! But I'm glad to be in the game again.

It's a tough game to get out of. Let's face it, Zoids have style, and there's nothing out there quite like them.
Welcome back to the fold!

It's a tough game to get out of. Let's face it, Zoids have style, and there's nothing out there quite like them. Welcome back to the fold! Hey, thanks man for the warm welcome. You are exactly right on the uniqueness of Zoids. I could never really get into any Mech shows until Transformers Beast Wars and Zoids rolled around. Something really cool about animals, Mech's, and Pilots I guess... I wish that Zoids had some more love in the gaming industry--with someone competent at the helm--but I guess the chance for a truly GOOD Zoids: video game, card game, RTS, and especially an MMO is long past us at this point. Especially when I look and see that Zoids that I initially bought for $10-15 back in 03'-04' are now triple digits in some cases. "Ah, how absence makes the heart grow fonder." And I could kill myself and that little bugger I gave my Zoids too...

Pretty good community you guys have here. Ps-Anyone find a Dibison at a reasonable price be sure to PM me or post it in that "Zoids for sale" thread, or whatever it's called. ;D

I'll keep an eye out. My only DiBison is OJR, and I wouldn't mind finding one to do a custom, but I'll let you know if I see any out there.

Also, can you run down this OJR and MM and some of these other acronyms that keep popping up around here and on Ebay? Or is there a thread on here that you can reference so that I can go an educate myself? 'ppreciate ya' man.

Sure thing, sir:
OJR = Original Japanese Release (approximately 1982-1992) NJR = New Japanese Release (which, ironicallly, will probably become the NSNJR; "Not So New Japanese Release!") OER = Original European Release NER = New European Release OAR = Original American Release (there were only 8 Zoids in that line) NAR = New American Release PR/NPR/PRR = Pacific Rim/Region Release (only seen this referred to once or twice) ZG = Zoids Graphics RC = Rebirth Century LTD = Limited (beware... there are official limited releases and there are some that are just scarce!)
MM = not sure off the top of my head.... some of the collector speak, though: MIB = Mint In Box C1 through C10 = C1 (trash) through C10 (Factory perfect, not even a scratch or label on the box) NIB = New In Box (sometimes the box was opened to check the contents) NM/NMC = Near Mint Condition
... and so on and so forth. Hope that helps (or confuses you in a pleasant way!)

MM could be a misspell of HMM (Highend Master Model) for the latest Zoids model kits released by Kotobukiya.
@ zodd, you definitely should also join Zoids Poison, just to stay connected with East Asian Zoids fans; they do find Zoids around their area time to time. Also, are there another Zoids that you are looking for?
