First Zoid I have built in over a decade, probably in over 16 years, and it was very satisfying to do, cougan and Maethius Now I get why people shell out so much for MIB that they plan to build, it's really satisfying to trim the parts and put them together, even if I managed to cut my thumb with the BLUNT side of the little pocket knife from using it to cut the parts from the sprue, the knife also had a file but I didn't really need that part Lmao I've nicked myself on the actual Zoid parts a few times, mostly the teeth! I still don't have an actual set of modeling tools unfortunately, so nail clippers are my best friend. Even more so because they have a file that folds out on the other end. For a while I used grooming scissors to get the pieces off, but they broke halfway through building the Blade Liger a while back. Still, congrats on the Wolf! That's definitely one on my wish list and it's cool that you got back into building. When I do get a Zaber it'll be MIB because that was my first Zoid and I want to experience building it again lol. My first was an Iguan, and I want another, but all I see are HMMs, not the motorized one. My second was a Wardick...or was it the other way around? I dunno, I was like ten ot twelve so that's 16-18 years ago, both got smashed and my mom made me throw them out, I tried saving the guns but again, amost 2 decades ago...the guns are probably long gone too.

I also did that to my Shadow Fox to clean the sprue bits off her

Just finished building it this morning, and sorry for the grainy quality- my normal all-white photo spot was occupied: The whole kit took 7 and 1/2 hours, some last night, some this morning. It was very fun to go through a complex HMM after the years since my HMM Molgas! It feels very much alive with its 88 points of articulation (yes, I counted), despite having no motor (as expected)! This was my birthday gift.

Neat to see a zoid that's usually so flat in such a lively, articulated pose

That is a very nice kit! I would love to have a couple of them, one to build as a scorpion, and a few to part out for customs. ^_^

Really nice! Got mine to look forward to still in it's box as I've been saving it since it's the figure that tipped the scales and got me back into Zoids!

Yeah, the standard colors look to me what Kotobukiya re-imagines the Battle Story Death Stinger as. The Hiltz Ver. is obviously for the anime/toy homage, but I think if it were down to a choice, Kotobukiya would go with the purple/pearly-pink-red. I can take the Zoid more seriously with these colors, for some reason.

Nice Gunblaster! I got lucky and scored one recently with a Gojulas Giga and a free complete Berserk Fury thrown in (very kind seller!) I've been wanting to strip it down and do a custom paint job on it but been too busy so far.

Time is of course the problem when you do customs i would really like to do some paintings on some of the zoids but that has to wait until my daughter is older...
