Fresh off the new Hasbro Phoenix arriving in the mail I decided to make a small custom using Phoenix only parts. Basically this is just a rearrangement of the parts. Fire Phoenix - Jet Mode! (Transformers ref inc) Help! I've fallen and I can't get up! This is just basically a rearrangement of parts to give it a more streamline, jet based body. It has the capability of walking on all 4's for short travel but it gets around better in the sky. Yea.

I love what you've done with it. The Phoenix looks much more sleek and purposeful. My one complaint is that the feet look a bit odd and out of place sticking out of the chest like that. Perhaps they could do with some relocating.

Very cool!
I have a stupid question; I've never seen anything that shows if the Phoenix has a pilot... does it?!

I believe it does. What is curious about the Hasbro Phoenix is the Empire design for the blox, and I believe it has 1 core blox vs any of the LZP kits.

Chuckles is right. The only reason that it didnt have a pilot in the anime is because RD was afraid of "giving up control of his zoid."

Thanks for all the responses guys!
As for why the front talons are sticking out like that is because the tri-connector they're plugged onto is keeping 2 blox together from being loose and would otherwise look very weird without them there.

So you couldn't straighten them to point forward? The empire design makes sense, it goes with the liger zero, who is also an empire zoid! The confusing part is obviously this color scheme is meant to go with the original red liger zero.. and the light-blue phoenix with orange eyes was so tragically rare..

Chuckles is right. The only reason that it didnt have a pilot in the anime is because RD was afraid of "giving up control of his zoid." Since the Fuzors anime alludes to Venus having some connection with the Phoenix, its entirely possible that she was its pilot the entire time, without ever revealing herself to RD until after the Phoenix was destroyed. It might look better with the talons pointed in the other direction.

I thought the front talons made it look adorable and cool.
