Hello everyone. Its great to be on a zoids board. I am mainly a transformers fan and have a big collection. My zoids collection is non existent at the moment. Part of the reason for joining this forum is track down some zoids. A few years back my zoids collection was stolen. By ex girlfriend. Along with star wars and transformers. Some of this was recovered But never the zoids. I had given up hope until a few days ago i got a lead on who some of the stuff had been given too. Upon speaking to him he told me they had much to my horror been sold at car boot sale in poole dorset. Ok so which ones you May ask. Now this is where its a bit painful. Not knowing about prices or how rare they are i never gave it much thought. But i would like to get them back or at least the same models. They were zolkon zarwolf mantazoid zillon zunder All were complete and boxed. Mantazoid had one of the legs struts glued together. So All i ask is if any of this rings a bell or maybe you bought them at a car boot sale in poole dorset could you let me know. I would buy them back. Anyway thanks

Wow, bummer! You know, now days you can justify the theft of a toy collection in small claims court (up to $5000) or even as grand theft. Anyway, welcome to the board! Well, for some of those you are quasi-lucky. The release of the memorial box sets drove prices down on some, and others pop up on eBay regularly. However, OJR (Original Japanese Release) and OER (European) Zoids like Zolkan and Zarwolf tend to be pricey. Zillion is, I believe, considered somewhat of a holy grail now. All told, I would say that little collection would fetch upwards of a decent $200USD. Welcome to Pheno's!

Kage - Welcome indeed. Sorry its under these circusmstances. Zoids are fairly sparse in the UK and tend to start at pretty high proces. If you are less picky, you can probably find the same Zoids cheaper in their NJR (New Japanese Release) colour schems. You could also try PM'ing Ardius. He's a UK based collector who recently sold off his collection. He may still have a few items unsold. Other than that, just keep trawling eBay for overlooked auctions and you may get lucky.
Happy hunting - zed

thanks guys. Picked up boxed reddra to replace my zolkon and a zunder and zarwolf. Strange thing today found a listing for a zarwolf on ebay that ended in june. It got my interest As the picture showed zarwolf with a red stripe sticker on his tail. Mine had that. Could he possibly be my original wolf? This fella was minus his box. So its kinda 50/50. Hope it was him and hes not in a bin smashed up somewhere. My quest continues.

I never let any of my Zoids slip away... had a few close calls when I wanted to sell some for cash, but had second thoughts and was glad I held on to them. My wife REFUSES to let me talk about selling my collection! In fact, she's helping me redesign and rebuild the garage into an appropriate custom building and display shop.
