RTBX - 005 Sea Scorpion Type

The First I want to mention is: despite being based on the Empire weapon of Mass Destruction, It's built using completely entire Republic Blox and Parts, with the exception of one Empire Gold Core.

Here we have a view of the head and Arm Cockpits. As I was messing with my Leostriker's missile pods I flipped them upside down and noticed they look kinda like Spider and Scorpion Fangs. The Leostriker Cockpits turned on their aide make great Arm and Shoulder parts.

The Zoid itself is actually able to stand up using it's own legs without balance issues. I decided to keep the legs simple and clean and since they're on the ball joint attachment you can alter them so they fan out like a Scorpion would look like.

Nestled deep withing the main body frame are the other 2 Cockpits.The Evoflyer controls the legs and Quad cannons and the Dispelow cockpit operates the back half of the body. When deciding on what to use to simulate the Large cannon on the back of the Deathstinger I wasn't shure to go with. IMO I figured this was the best choice for it.

Finally we have the main part of the zoid which made the original a force to be reckoned with, The CPC. Now obviously there's no such Blox piece that's a CPC, so i decided to simulate it using the Cannon Diver Short Gun.

I hope you enjoyed this re-imagining of a Death Stinger.

Wow - that is actually pretty funky. It would look much better if painted with a unified colour scheme, but this woudl mean the parts could not be used for their original models. The legs would look better if they were all the same, and somehow rotated 90 degrees so they stick out to the side. But overall, a great concept and very creative use of parts.

That's pretty cool! The feet make it kinda creepy... but it definitely looks like it could do some damage.
