Let's call it a Behemoth type and be done with it. \o\
Awesome build. Bits flow together wonderfully.

Agreed, it is a very slick custom. Its obviously beautifully painted, but aside from that you'd be forgiven for thinking it came straight out of a TakaraTomy box. I would have really loved to seen some WIP shots of the disparate parts and colours.
Could we have some size comparison shots ? Mentally, I know its made of Deadly Kong sized legs, but the body shape makes me think its Hebby Rhino sized ! Also, does the motor still work ?
Cannot wait to see different weapon fits. It is awesome.

LOVE IT. Behemoth type really fits. Great build, great concepts, great story, great paint... and a great use of video tape parts! Yes... I see them in there! Ever since I used them on my Siege Tortoise they sneak into my builds. Wonderful work, Rayse... a real contender for 1st place... as usual.

Hey thanks for the comments my friendly zoiders. @ Zed, I'm really sorry I didn't took the time to do WIP pics since this one was actually a sorta quick project, in fact if you look at the google link provided on the first post, you will see the first complete build to it. Then later, while building my third project, I notice there was a lot of room for add ons and details. As for comparison pics, I can get that for you asap. The motor doesn't work since I took some parts out of it. Maethius- first, yes, I did use video tape parts for holding the missile pods on the shoulders and the radar plate on the back mounted cannons. I also used fake nails that I bought from my sister to give my Cranium some Claws; not sharp but it looks good. The main cannons were extended from tubes that were found in eyeliner makeup (no I don't use it, LOLs). Another scratch-built part I want to point out is the ammo belt fed bullets that you see on top in silver and blue. The belt is made from folded scotch tape, painted in black with cut wire bits painted in aluminum and metallic blue tips. I used this same technique on my other custom too. The Silver handle looking things on each should armor is cut paper clips that I bent each segment into that shape with rubber wire cover on each end. I took a picture of that if you guys want to see it, I was using it on my current project but decided to put it on Cranium instead. Thanks for looking all in all and really appreciate the comments from all of you.

LOL... the fake nails thing was pretty cool... I used tube styrene to do the same thing when I made Paladin. Heck, I would use the parts to remake Paladin with real armor and stuffs.

Wow. That puts things into perspective. I can almost see the pile of headless teddy bears which were thrown off the bed ...
Cranium looks like he could happily take on that DS, but seeing them side by side make me think he needs a decal or two with a logo or designation number.

I do tend to favor a few tasteful decals, but I think it's a great build even without them. Heck, what I'm looking for now are some generic military decal sheets for tanks and fighters so I can add black or white water-slide text on my customs. Still, love this one with or without labels. Also, the story gives a really good out... each faction has one super Zoid on the field, so there's no need to designate your one huge Zoid.
