Nice color scheme. The wideness of the legs from its body give it an almost lizard-like squatting appearance.

Yah, unfortunately, when I put the joints on, they were a little further out, after pulling them closer in, I came across several other problems, which then made me have to push the front legs a little further out. I still like, and I still think it give an impression of a fox, may have to try to find some pieces later to fill in as 'extra' armor between the legs and body.

Thanks. I deicded to load up pictures I didn't use for the contest. I plan to take it apart later (hopefully with out breaking anything) and do another set of layers for the purple paint, but other then that, I think it came out good.
I haven't painted with spray in a long, long time, so its easy to see all my messes.

isn't it possible to put the joints further inside the body?

It wasn't stable. It woudln't connect, when it did, it wouldn't move properly and often popped off without any assitance. Its sad.
But on that note, I am planning to build a MK II Sometime soon, I plan to build a different sword/sheild/gun combo weapon, that will be as large, but able to fold up and such out of peices I have, as well as use a different set of joints for the zoid, using something MUCH more stable.
I really hated these joints, and don't plan to use them again. I plan to buy the pieces over time, though I may just remove the joints off this one and replace them as part of the Mk II
