...I believe this makes it a Dengeki Exclusive figure. Even if not, you won't be able to just preorder it, since it's on a Japanese-only website. You'll need to go through a proxy service to get it.

Actually there IS a pre-order up on Ebay right now....IF one is stupid enough to pay $103 for it Ever notice how many "exclusive" figures turn up everywhere, whenever they are announced

Because those people buy them from the source specifically to resell them.

Exactly....but that makes them not really "exclusive" then, right?

What, are Dengeki Hobby supposed to chase resellers down with pointed sticks ;p?

Chase down with pointed sticks? No.
Limit 1 per person? Sure nuff!
I know perfectly well it would not eliminate it completely, but it would surely cut down on the scalping and price gouging from these dirtbags.

If everyone can afford them, "that makes them not really "exclusive" then, right? "

Find people uninterested in owning the item themselves, pay them a fee on top of the cost to order item, charge even more at the "sell to overseas buyers" step...
Not to mention one per person would make it very hard for anyone not Japanese to get one (directly, I mean, rather than super-scalper-markup), wheras limited to one website but not in number you can at least use a middleman service.

Its really dissapointing that they just painted the Bladey model red instead of making a new model altogether. Just curious, since Leon's BL is, well, just a re-colored BL... what changes should they have paid the staff to make? Or did you mean that they should have made a Shadow Fox, not another repaint?

Well I mean like, they could have done a Liger Zero or a Berserk Fury..or just another iconic Zoid instead of another repaint.. you know? I'd rather enjoy a different revoltech zoid instead of just a repaint of what I already have.. Oh and btw, theres another repaint of the Blade Liger. Its the Blade Liger Mirage cgi.ebay.com/Kaiyodo-Revoltech-093EX-ZOIDS-BLADE-LIGER-MIRAGE-Figure-/140477007668?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item20b5150734

I agree with you there, qboyrymes. I understand the repaint thing, of course... maximize the profit on the development of a single mold. If enough people buy that mold, we'll have enough profit to make something new! It's still irritating. If you're gonna release a "Mirage", release the WHOLE thing! No boosters? Lazy.

It's not as if this stops them from doing something else later, if anything it helps them do that. THe problem would be if, for example, they released Mirage -again- with the boosters
