Just came across this from a friend of mine on FB. parkablogs.com/content/book-review-zoids-concept-artAnyone heard of it? In addition to the sites listed at the bottom, there are two on ebay and HLJ has it as well. Looks incredible- I'll be ordering mine asap.

I must admit I am a little disappointed that this is an alternate universe art book- I'd have rather seen concept art for the Zoids we know and love. But conceptually I think it looks very intriguing- I'm looking forward to seeing this in person.
I've seen a few listing for Zoids books over the past few years and even flipped through the Zoids encyclopedia a few months back (passed). Tilly, are there any Zoids 'art' books you would recommend?

Yeah, there's some very neat art in there, if you don't mind the filtered/look we have textures in Photoshop look. To me it feels a bit like PHOTOSHOP!! collided with 80s desaturated style animation art, which I like for the most part. Sadly I think most Zoids books are light on the art D:. If you like diorama work, the official fanbooks 1-4 and the OJR books from the Core Box (and elsewhere, if you're lucky) might be your kind of thing. The Zoids Bible has some good actual art, but it's also a bit small—if you liked the art about Zi's past in the Graphics booklets, that was reprints from the Zoids Bible. If you ever get a chance to grab it, this book is totally worth it even if you can't read the text. Chunks of the art are two-color reprints from OJR boxes, but chunks more are entirely original. I wish it would get reprinted, I want a copy whose binding hasn't dissolved...

Love that a book of quality art has been done, though now they need to follow it up with a book of the kits we know and love, and a book of actual production art. Nice piece of work.
