*Warning* It's a work in progress and so far is very sketchy and no where near the quality of what the final product will be. Good luck being able to tell pieces apart. ;D So I am working on a picture of a blade liger and a liger zero fighting and I was hoping you guys could give me some helpful criticism. I am going for a more organic look for the zoids but with that comes with it's own issues. When I made the body and neck longer it looked way to plain so I added some armor that looks like stripes (something I felt a liger should have) but what do you guys think of them. Are they suitable for a blade liger? Should I toss them? Any armor ideas would be great and appreciated. Especially armor ideas for where the blade connects to the body. How does the perspective and proportions look? Also what's with the random orange spots on the body you might be asking. That's where bladeys "inner" light is showing through the cracks of his armor. It will look awesome in the final picture. Also, he has an orange tongue. Why? Because it's awesomesauce. And those little wierd looking things on bladey's nose are plates that rise and lower depending on ligers mood. I did it to hopefully help make it more snarly looking. My ideas for it came from this leopard mecha thingy I drew before. Link

My cat anatomy is still a...learning excersize in progress, so take with a grain of salt: www.pointytilly.net/stuff/temp/liger-redline.jpg (the lines over the blade are more "leave this where it is", just move the mount a little) I love the face bits/mane on this lots. And ORANGE TONGUE :D. Do you mind if I do something similar next time I draw more organic-looking Zoids? Not a direct lift, of course.

I took a break on this but now that I'm up and inspired to finish a lot of zoid pieces this should be at least completely lined by next month.
