These aren't CAD-designed; Revoltech figures are all hand-sculpted, hence minor oddities. Ditto the paint. What you're picking out is incredibly minor; I can't even tell where you're referring to (though that could be my problem. lol.), but someone like yourself should have no problem painting and correcting that. Not that it... solves the problem I don't even notice... in the first place? ... More worrying is that I've just noticed that the right cheek fins are missing in all his photos of it.

Sorry if I seem nit-picky, Xehn. It's more a matter of, if I'm going to drop $40+ USD on a kit, I just expected a bit more... precision.

Well, you should know how this goes. Mass produced item, hand-painted, no two are identical, if you demand perfection you'll need to do some touching up on your own, etc etc. ...mine should arrive tomorrow. *pokes tracking*oops it arrived today ...huge box is huge. For size comparison, those two figures are about five and a half inches tall. >.>; ...and there are only two things in there. ...one of which is intimidatingly large itself.

Okay, double post, but... that's so things don't run together.
Initial thoughts:
Size: Ohsnap. I was right on the mark. He's exactly the same size as the KFM Liger Zero.
Tail: Snowflake, you should be pleased! The tail is made of a flexible plastic, but not as soft as KFM Zero's. This is a good thing, because it means you can soak the parts in hot water for a few seconds, shape them as you like, then dunk them in icewater to re-set them in a shape you'd prefer. :3
Paint: Shiny. So shiny. D: Pretty metallic blue!

You know, I've tried that before, and it didn't work when it was supposed to.. in any case, it looks to me like the tail segments are -molded- crooked, but it's still a pretty awesome figure. Thing is, I wouldn't mind at all if they left the leg pistons and springs unpainted, since they are on the kit and in the anime. That's what I'm more used to anyway

Oh, yeah, they're molded crooked. But there's more than enough give to alter the way they're bent, if you try. *shrug*
I think they've blended the original/anime and HMM designs together... Especially with the tail, even if it's not entirely the same as either version...
