There's a lot of info revealed so far, about these interesting little figures, and a lot of it is spread throughout the "photos" thread. I figured I'd do a little rundown with everything we know, to make it easier for people who don't want to trawl through the thread: Revoltech is a line of action figures made by Kaiyodo utilizing a custom joint type called a Revolver Joint. This joint is a ratcheting joint that can be removed with ease, allowing parts to be swapped and for custom figures to be created. However, this line has been used almost exclusively for action figures of licensed properties, the most recent of which is why we're all here: ZOIDS! So far, two figures have been announced, a Blade Liger and a Geno Breaker. I really really hope prey to whatever that they can be posed easily and freely without the risk of legs or parts coming off

Have no fear, Vig. Revoltech figures don't fall apart easily.

...well, do you want a big, complex model kit, or a small action figure?

GOOD NEWS AND BAD NEWS!
Good news is, updated post with more places to preorder Genobreaker (and a better link to pictures). September is going to be painful for me...
Bad news is, Blade Liger alone is too big to ship via SAL Small Packet, according to AmiAmi. ...and Genobreaker is much bigger than Liger. >_o
...and I've just paid AmiAmi for my Liger and Vash revoltechs ($105! For two things! $40 of which is shipping! @_e I need to get out of expensive hobbies...), so... we shall see just how awesome this little guy will be, soon.

The neck and thruster pack(too small;wierd mount point) are so wonky it makes my eyes bleed...also, stupidly overpriced. Other than those three things, I really do like it. Love the extender piece that makes it look like GB is firing his grappler claws! I don't HAVE TO HAVE this right now...I'll wait awhile, and pay much less than those that grab these Revoltechs right at release

Depending on where you get them, "right at release" can mean a lot of things... Photoreview of Bladey! blog.livedoor.jp/hacchaka/archives/51565529.htmlSeems the gray discs he comes with are... a swarm (10!) of two-point revochips. That's... lovely. Also useless for those of us outside of Japan, but eh. *shrug*

See I have to criticize their choice of tail joints. I realize you can't make it jointed all the way along, but giving it three segments, each of which is self-crooked, means it won't really look right in any pose

Overall the Bladey looks pretty nice... the giraffe neck doesn't look so pronounced here. But I admit I'm a bit surprised on some of these close up shots; bad molding or tooling (scrapes and distortions), and a less than stellar pain job that is downright sloppy on some parts (springs, hydraulics, underside on the rear shot). Unless the photographer has painted it himself? I dislike the silver tail, though the details are better than the "hose" most Ligers actually use.
