Yeah, the wasp waist look a little unsturdy. I love the idea of a 1/60-1/72 scale action figure, but fear the likely pricing structure of a Yamato release will keep me out of the game on these *EDIT* Wait...have we figured out if this is indeed an action figure, or a kit?

Fuzors is my favorite Zoids series, but it still didn't do very well in Japan.

As long as I can afford this I'm super excited about it. If I won't be able to get one then I won't feel as mad about it being another Shield Liger. I want some darn variety! I love ligers but there are so many amazing zoids out there that they could chose to make. I personally would love a detailed remake of some of the blox and neo blox zoids.

All this Shizouka coverage, and exactly one little pic of Yamato's Shieldy, way down at the bottom of Cybergundam's coverage of the Yamato booth. hk.myblog.yahoo.com/iam-cybergundam/article?mid=47839Price, TBD. Scale... I'm going to go out on a limb and say that looks pretty 1/72-ish. Hard to do that level of detail on a 1/100. And there's little figures of Ban, Zeek and Whatserface. The little sign says "full action model", but I'd say it's more likely to be a toy than a kit. Yamato doesn't usually do kits, and besides, there's already an expensive, highly-detailed, underfed Shieldy kit on the market. My Japanese is pretty rusty, but I think the kanji on the little sign says, "Buy me! Shieldy gotta eat!"

A pretty nice looking piece! Going by the prices for Yamato 1/48 Valks though, I fear that this Shieldy will retail somewhere in the $150-180 range. Shut out

Someone on 2chan said something about it maybe being a 1/60 scale.
だいたい1/60ぐらい?
Roughly translates to "About 1/60?" in Google.

Dammit, wrong post >_>;.
Possibly larger scale could get...interesting, I would think they'd want smaller considering Japan is short on space. Thought it makes me fear the price point even more.
