So I beat the game using www.gamefaqs.com/portable/gbadvance/file/918731/32392 after being stuck for the longest time. At the end of the thing, it talks about a tournament where you get all the backdraft characters and Raven's possy to join you. Just what city is that at? And another thing, afterwards, I'd be practically done with the game and would only have minor personal goals -such as collecting Fuhrer CPs, other zoids and leveling up Juno and her green Geno Hydra...>.>- I've been thinking about getting Zoids Saga Fuzors to add to the madness. I read in a review the other day that its story was easier to follow than Legacy's and probably would be easier -in spite of the turn based fuzor powerouts and the japanese texts-. But I've been wondering whether or not it would actually work on an american GBA. I also contemplated going through the trouble of accquiring a DS so I can get my hands on Sagas DS, for the sake of the full character roster and more zoids and such. Like Fuzors, does the US DS play the japanese game on its own?

Live Town, I think...you know, that empty, boring one. That tourney's fun, I like beating up Vega's broken BF variant with Zan in a Snipe Master with a fixed damage weapon (or one of the defense-eating ones) and that equally broken accuracy-lowering weapon. & this! never ceases to crack me up :p.
Far as I know, Game Boy anything (and DS anything) cares not about region. Color games definitely are universal, I have the Japanese Zoids ones and they work fine.
Saga Fuzors is pretty easy to play (at least the first half is), though it's VERY annoying early on in that you keep having to go all the way back out from the same bit of city >_>. The language barrier doesn't give me much pause other than "dammit I can't make out that kanji argh which command is that" moments, and other than said commands and the learned skill the menus are obvious enough if you've played Legacy. A bit of comprehension will help, but not as much as knowing the franchise. For the skills, learn to recognize words like "defense" and "evasion" and the raised/lowered/etc things it uses for them and you'll be okay.

I am deeply considering getting Fuzors (since I lack a DS). But my only worry is the fusing. My favorite zoid -and the one I put Zeru in- is the Matrix Dragon, with Double Arm Lizard right behind. I would hate to have 4 of my slots permanently filled for the sake of one zoid...>.> Are you able to produce gattai zoids when you have adequate data like you can in legacy?

yeah you can build the fuzor zoids just like you could do in legacy/saga II. Fuzors is quite fun plus if you put in a special code you can get murasame liger, and another one lets you basically play the last half of the fuzors story line

Well, if we're reviving this: I can't get the last code to get the Alpha scenario to work. Is there anything in particular I may have missed doing? I've beaten the game, and the Murasame code works .

double check to see if you inputting it right. it should work if you have beaten the game. here is the code again so you don't have to look for it again:
B, B, A, A, Right, Left, Right, Left, Down, Down, A, A, Up, Up, Down, Right, B
sorry about reviving this, its just the question went unanswered, and thinking about it they've probably already figured it out.

I've entered it about five times now, double and triple checked it against a walkthrough and the official site, tried beating the boss a second time...
And no, it's not a ROM D:.
(thanks for typing it up, though!)
