Zoids Genesis in Super Robot Wars K

An online acquaintance from Busou Shinki World by the name of Zress pointed this out to me through linking to 2chan:



That's Murasame Liger, shown alongside King Gainer, Strike Freedom Gundam, and other famous mecha.



I assume this is a list of the series involved?

And on that note, Gundam and Zoids coexisting? Hell yeah!

Edit: Scans confirming Bio Raptor (Since the robopilot's there, and also if you look close you can see Murasame slice'n'dicing one), as well as one of Murasame's evolutions, at least.

...okay, that is very unexpected. And kinda cool. My sister does have a DS, if it proves to be good.

Odd they'd choose Murasame, though. They're trying for the more Genesis/anime/young market than nostalgia like the model line, I suppose.

They're likely using a couple units from Genesis. From what I understand, the Super Robot Wars series is like Saga, with converging timelines from various series, with the main plot being piecemeal from the series involved in each game.

I suppose Murasame fits the genre best, since Super Robot Wars has always been more "Super Robot" than "Real Robot," even if it does include gundam and macross and stuff. If they were going to pick any zoids they'd go with the more showy magical ones, and since Murasame basically digivolves... yeah..
