Zeekdober, as the name suggests, is based off the Doberman (Pinscher), which, in my opinion, wasn't a bad choice at all for the Guylos Empire to replicate (Doberman Pinschers are, after all, often used by the police and the military). Was the 'Zeek' part a romanised version of 'Sieg' (like the first featured Organoid in Zoids Chaotic Century)?

the name and coloration alone was enough to trigger a DOGGIE!! response in me. i'm frustrated about never being able to get an OJR one but now with this coming out i feel all better. ;D

Zeek is indeed a mangling of Sieg (victory), far as I can tell.

...what translator o_O? You can't say "sieg" flat up in Japanese, 'cause it's German (note how similar it sounds to "zeek" in the pronunciation sample). The kana (ジーク) used in both the organoid and whateverdober gets me Sieg in name dictionaries, and for a Dobermann it makes more sense. (edit) So that dictionary doesn't want to be direct linked >_>;. Cram the kana in here with names selected. I also am of the opinion Whitz Wolf was meant to be Weiß (white) Wolf, but that's a different debate :p.

Hey, it's kinda related! The poor Zoid's still got a weird name! Though at least Zeekdober is fun to say...
Makes me wonder if they'll fix Deathcat's if it gets rereleased, or if it'll forever sound more like Des(u) Cat.

They remolded some bits... The odd part is the added hardpoints on the leg bits.

Extra hard points are probably meant for custom weapons.

Well, yes. But has that ever been done, before? Remolding to add hardpoints?

Real shame about those guns, though. Mold degradation, or laziness?
