just got mine today... as in an hour ago... ;D to the freak from the Philippines (you know who you are, with 2 KGs and s**t...)who said this wouldn't happen... it seems my country has become KG crazy... went to the malls last weekend (well actually just 2 malls, with a total of 3 toy stores) and behold... no KGs available!!! only lonely gilvys left in the corner. it seems i was in luck that day i saw one and decided to buy it right away.
with the current situation, getting 2 would be quite difficult... let's see if the distributor loads up for the coming x-mas season.
before (maybe 3 years ago), people told me KG's molds were destroyed making his comeback appearance bleak, well its a shame. it seems takara tomy can recreate any mold they like. so for those who wishes to see hard to find zoids that they missed, be patient. it seems its not really that impossible! maybe a blue kg might appear someday... who knows. ;D

l reckon the issues with molds for these kits was never the difficulty in making them, but the cost involved, it has to be worth their while. There's always a risk that the zoids undersell, so it was'nt worth the cost of remaking the mold (l'm sure l read somewhere that the GilDragon was a poor seller for instance, hopefully Gilvy sells better).
Of course, the fact that King G is possibly the most iconic zoid of all probably also has something to do with it flying off the shelves, he's the most expensive zoid l've ever brought but l did'nt even think twice about ordering him!!

anybody looking for NJR madthunders and ultrasaurus models? if you have friends from the philippines, the toy stores here seem to have an excess of these models... so instead of fighting over them in auctions you can get MIB kits here for a paltry sum...
oops, wrong post. this should belong to the toy store and auction sightings...
