I was surprised to hear the door bell ring, revealing a nice man bearing a Gungy. I will not complain. A note. Most pictures taken indoors with artificial light. Color seen may not represent actual colors. A picture of the box. Some highlights of the construction process: The first step in assembling the neck Neck assembled, working on head. The nearly completed head. The front half of the body... And the rear half. A view of the leg. Both the arms and legs are pretty simple. Of note is the little stabilization bar. You could take it out, albiet leaving the foot a little floppy, for display. Gungy with limbs attatched. I forgot to put on some extra chromy armor on the back legs. You can see them in the final pictures. The tail assembly. Note the caps inside being used as a source of friction to keep the tail posed. The wing assembly. First part of the weapons assembly. The second part. The first and second part together. The third part partially assembled. Note the colored drum, which gives the appearance of zoomy things flying towards the guns exit when Gungy is turned on. The whole thing assembled. Some pictures of Gungy standing up. And some pictures of Gungy lying down.

The box picture clearly informs it's the rerelease. ...Caps used merely for friction for poseablility? That's a new one.

HLJ is currently backorder on Gungy, and the price is reasonable. I don't know when will Toy-wave start shipping.

Man, I really wish toy-wave would start making calls to get their supply in or at least start reimbursing people who paid.

Actually I'm pretty sure this isn't the first zoid to use caps purely for friction ... Well maybe it is, but not the first that us newer zoiders would be familiar with.. which is to say, newer zoids have done that

But in the way Gungy uses them? They're completely internal.

Man, I really wish toy-wave would start making calls to get their supply in or at least start reimbursing people who paid. Let's not forget that its based in Hong Kong, which may take some time to get there. I only hope that they don't charge extra for shipping, since the pre-order happened about several months ago.
