After months of contemplation, I finally went after one. And better yet, got it for a steal off eBay. ============================================== Came via USPS/FedEx yesterday packaged very securely. The ruler is for scale, since the box was far larger than I expected: Box shots: Inside the box: The many, many sprues. Note that many are overlapped since they were identical, to save space: Starting to look like a Geno Saurer: All done being built and looking pretty fearsome if I do say so myself: CPG ready to fire: The many, many moving pieces in the tail vents. Each vent has 3 posable pieces and there are 8 vents: The footlocks, complete with hydralics: The complex knee joints, hydralics there too: The torso can twist in the middle, so can the neck and every link in the tail: One thing of note. The claws are SO sharp out of the box. I kid you not when I say I cut my hand accidentally, with disturbing ease. Roar: ============================================= Build time: Well over 6 hours total. The Good:Extremely detailed and great for anyone looking for a challenge. The Bad:Extremely detailed, thus not for someone without fine motor skills and/or patience. Overall:A must have in my mind. One of the best Zoids I've had the pleasure of building.

Great review, Tyrann After building the Desert Liger and Command Wolf LC though, I have to ask...how is the plastic quality? With my past experiences, I cringe even looking at the hydraulic pieces, what with their legendary predispositition to trying to snap when moved.

I STILL fail to see what you guys are talking about with the hydraulic bits liking to snap. I've never broken ANY of them... They seem to be made of HARDER stuff, actually... >>

how is the plastic quality? It's pretty sturdy. No issues with assembly and they seem pretty durable. The clear plastic on the other hand. Damn is that fragile. No accidents with the pieces, but I could snap the empty sprue between 2 fingers.

Wow, does the price justify HMM Geno? The HMM line is going high now, and higher in the near future due to rising cost of plastics. But the kits loooks soo great, that having one isn't enough!

As I said, I got it for a steal. $50 off eBay, plus shipping. When it was up around $100, I couldn't justify it. But for that price, I couldn't resist.
