Finally after review the Great berserk Fuhrer, I can get back on track with other KZ CAS, so here we go:
The Liger Zero Jager is probably the most famous of the CAS for the simple fact that it was the one Bit Cloud used the most in the show:
Just by looking at this guy you can tell he made for speed, what with the MASSIVE boosters on his back and the many "spoiler fins" located throughout his armor. The Jager also, of course, uses metal pieces for his shoulder armour and face armor. While the Jager looks great, there are some really bad design flaws. One, the bosters on his back simply sit on his back. THats right, they don't attach, they dont snap on, they just connect with a really long and lose peg. This of course means just brushing into the Jager causes the boosters to swivel around in place. Fortunetly they'll stay on in you dont touch. But what is UNFORGIVABLE with the KZ-01B Liger Zero Jager is the rear leg knee pieces. Excuse me first while I scream in frustration:
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH
What you cant tell from the pictures of that rather than attach via pegs like they should've been, the rear knee pieces have to attach via sliding into place and sticking into a socket in his knee. Sounds simple right? WRONG. The plastic for these pieces is very brittle and THEY BROKE IN HALF when I was gently attaching them! ARGH, I mean, if the pieces had been made out of the metal, problem solved, but no, they had to make them out of this regular plastic that broke like a twig and forced to bring out the super glue.
I'm sorry but this is just intolorable. MOVING ON!
Compared to all the other gimmicks of the other CAS, like the way-too-many-blades Schneider and the walking-weapons-platform Panzer, the Jager is pretty bare bones, except for of course, his bigg ass rocket boosters:
Not only do these things look great, but they swivel and open up just like the regular model Jager:
All in all, the boosters are the prize of this set, which makes me even more peeved that they dont attach securly to the Jager
CONCLUSION:
By far the weakest of the KZ CAS, Jager suffers from some terrible design choices, and, compared to the other CAS, simply doesnt as much in terms of gimmick. Its not that the Jager is bad by any means, its just that the other CAS are SO MUCH BETTER. Still recommended, JUST BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN ATTACHING THE REAR KNEE PIECES. Overall, the Jager gets my lowest score: 7/10
