So there's the box. Yay! You can see the parts elsewhere, so let's not bother with that. Start of with the head, shall we? The head's pretty simple. Put it together, and assemble a swingy spine like thing. Here you can see more of the neck assembly. Once the head and neck is assembled, you can see how it can work. The heck can 'lock' to the neck as in the first picture, or 'unlock' and come out for greater flexibility. And yes, the jaw can't open for squat. Next is the front body. It looks a bit like this. Not to terribly complicated, two main halves, add some bits. Some of the bits to add are not depicted. Also, see those two holes up top? We'll get back to those. Now it is time for the rear body. You can see the progress. Also, see that long bar. Note how it looks like it'd fit nicely with those holes on the front body. Also note the hole at the end. And, those tubes? Glued. Now, the body halfs and head/neck come together. Unlike HMM Shield Liger, it attatches in a fairly unique way. That long bar plugs into the top of the front body. The head/neck? If you'll look back, you'll see a peg at the end of the neck. Which goes nicely with the hole on the rear body bar. So basically, the neck attatched to the rear body, and the front body connects underneath. Unique! Next is the legs. You've built them before, you know what they are like. They look like this. Slap on the legs, and it looks like this. Pretty poses! That's pretty much it. Two last things. 1: Mercy Rabbit! 2: See if you can spot what's odd about the poses. Some already know cause I've told them. No fair for them. Also, B. A kinda odd little bit I felt like mentioning. The front legs are a bit of on mine. The right leg can be spread outwards, forcing the disk to tilt like that. Moving the leg back inwards, and the disk doesn't want to, which is a bit annoying. So, durability: Legs like to come of. Body is pretty solid, unless you try it should stay together. I might be a bit careful with the neck, but not to bad. So yes. Take what you will of this.

Thje monitor here must be old. I see blue upon build and I see green when finished building. Very weird... But I'm beginning to love this guy. How long did it took you to finish building him?

I see the same and my monitor's fine. I suspect it's a difference in lighting, and that sort of steel blue kinda takes on slight blue and/or green tinges depending.

I'd go with weird lighting.
Anyways, I'd say the built looks the most like it, although it shows up a bit lighter with the flash. So yes, I didn't feel like fiddling around with lighting and such.
Anyhow, uh, I'll say 7 hours. Five on Monday, about two hours on Tuesday.
Mind, my wrists were hurting and I could have probably gone a bit faster, so yeah.

So, in this pic, are the body pieces really two shades of blue, or is that weird lighting too?

Looks like different shades to me. Its consistent in all the pictures, and even on the sprue images on Zoidscorner.
I'm actually starting to dislike this more and more. Its not something I can put my finger on, but a lot of the details look off. Why not silver or gold teeth, where are my orange shoulder rings, hate the big circular hole in the cheeks. Is the neck too long ? IMO it looks better with the orange canopy too.
I'll still buy at least one, but I'm no longer excited by it.
Depress-zed
EDIT: And who the heck is Mercy Rabbit ? ? ?

Yeah, it's two different shades.
And Mercy Rabbit was the person who drew the art on the box. It amused me.

The art is really a cool pic. I wonder what will the Zenebas Woof would look like... I noticed that you used the Black/Brown Lens instead of the Orange one. It looks a lot like that old Command Wolf. The one with the Gold, White and Blue colors...

Dammit.. WHY IN THE NAME OF DAVE, the king of all BeaNLAND, did they make its innards blue...!!!??~
note to self: when purchasing HMM wolf also grab a can of German grey, and a can of graphite to "correct" stupid blue parts...
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
its a great build, true, but those3 blue innards just look WAY OFF for me..
quick question: are the pilots for the HMM kits different from standar pilots (ive never seen them in any pictures before ands the ones i can see through the canopy seem different.)

Well it's a good deal better than the green on Zoidscorner. Now I can saffely say I like this thing stock. Sure silver teeth'd be great, but you can't win them all, and it seems like the thing that's much better in person. I think that seeing it with the blue makes me want to use the orange canopy, but I'm still not sure. The fact that it can mount everything a regular C-Wolf can is a gigantic plus. Now if only I knew where to get me hands on one... that'd be grand.

Great review and pics, Colodie This wolf, while not perfect color-wise, is still pretty good. The smoke canopy does make up for alot of it's other shortcomings. Part of me really wants this guy..but I am having some trouble justifying buying two wolves Hopefully there will be a big enough production run to flood store stock and at some point be offered for clearance prices. That's the only way I think I would be able to feel good about picking up both. And I wonder if regular model kit CW rubber caps fit this guy?

Nope, they do not
The HMM Wolf caps are almost unnoticable smaller the the small windup caps. About a millimeter smaller or so, I'd say.
If you want them on, you'll need glue, or some other way.
