Hi guys Big thanks to Malvin of Greattoys.Net. The Helic Memorial Box II 1983-1984 contains RMZ-06 Gorgodos, RMZ-07 Hidocker, RMZ-08 Pegasuros, RMZ-09 Spiker and RMZ-10 Furolesios. We start the review on RMZ-06 Gorgodos. Originally released back in 1983 under the following line (text extracted from Phenotype's Zoids Checklist): - RMZ-06 Gorgodos, Original Japan Release (OJR) - Stegozoids, Original European Release (OER) - Gorgodos, Pullback Zoids - Green Stegozoid, Zany Zoids Front BoxBack BoxContents. The instruction manual has a feel of “vintage”, color-wise. It is off-white and lil thick. It comes with aluminum foil sticker sheet and chrome gold pilot. Built RMZ-06 Gorgodos When you wound the motor, it walks in 4s. Not much gimmick for this lil critter. What it lacks in gimmick compensates in weaponry. 2 in the head, 4 in the body & 1 located in the tail. Plastic quality is good and the white head is not really white but off-white. Next: RMZ-07 Hidocker

What it lacks in gimmick compensates in weaponry. 2 in the lower neck, 1 at the back of the neck, 4 in the body & 1 located in the tail. Review: RMZ-08 PegasurosOriginally released back in 1983 under the following line (Text extracted from Phenotype's Zoids Checklist): - RMZ-08 Pegasuros, Original Japan Release (OJR) - Cosmozoid, Original European Release (OER) Front BoxBack BoxContents. The instruction manual has a feel of “vintage”, color-wise. It is off-white and lil thick. It comes with aluminum foil sticker sheet and chrome gold pilot. Built RMZ-08 PegasurosThis kit reminds me of RMZ-02 Glidoler. More specifically an upgraded version. Add-on on the wings & extended neck. The gimmick on this Zoids kit is remarkable for a 1983 design. The gear mechanism are all interconnected to the wind-up motor thus when you wound it the wing flaps & the wheel rotates. Plastic quality is good and the white head is not really white but off-white. Next: RMZ-09 Spiker

Review: RMZ-09 SpikerOriginally released back in 1983 under the following line (Text extracted from Phenotype's Zoids Checklist): - RMZ-09 Spiker, Original Japan Release (OJR) - Sekta, Original American Release (OAR) or more commonly referred to as Robostrux. The Sekta has a “clamhead” canopy instead of the “whitehead” of the Spiker. - Mantazoid, Original European Release (OER) Front BoxBack BoxContents. The instruction manual has a feel of “vintage”, color-wise. It is off-white and lil thick. It comes with aluminum foil sticker sheet and chrome gold pilot. Built RMZ-09 SpikerA Manthis-type Zoids, when you wound the motor it walks in 4. The neck-part & claws can be moved manually. Plastic quality is good and the white head is not really white but off-white. Other manthis-type Zoids are 1/24 scale E24-03 Dontress/Zevle Gigiima, Spiker, SS Zoids EZ-048 Demanthis & Hasbro Power Zoids Manthis. Next: RMZ-10 Furolesios

Review: RMZ-10 FurolesiosOriginally released back in 1984 under the following line (Text extracted from Phenotype's Zoids Checklist): - RMZ-10 Furolesios, Original Japan Release (OJR) - Hydrazoid, Original European Release (OER) Front BoxBack BoxContents. The instruction manual has a feel of “vintage”, color-wise. It is off-white and lil thick. It comes with aluminum foil sticker sheet and chrome gold pilot. Built RMZ-10 FurolesiosSame design-concept w/ RMZ-05 Aquadon, when you wound up the motor, it runs in wheels & the two(2) front flipper flaps together doing a “swimming motion”. The head can manually lift 0° to 90°. Plastic quality is good and the white head is not really white but off-white. Unlike the Memorial Box Set 1 is released by Toys Dream Project, Set II is not an exclusive item but not readily available off the shelves. You either order it online or pray that your favorite hobby stores bring this kit. If you have spare money, this kit is a good buy and a nice addition to your Zoids collection. Note that this is the 1st few model kits that started the Zoids Line. Thanks for looking, cheers to everyone dri1

Before, I was never tempted to buy the Old Whites. Clunky design, and over priced. But these Memorial Sets are great: instant collection !
Of the five, Cosmo and Hydro are great, Spiker is ok, but Stego and Bronto are pretty meh. The basic four-legged-Whitehead mold is over used. But an excellent piece of history.
Overall - 7 out of 10 - zed
