I looked on the internet for a decent review of this Zoid and could not find one, so here it is!:

I always saw pictures of this Zoid online, and it never appealed to me. Being the evil tyrant that I am, I liked TZ Evil Pegasus better. That was until I stepped into Heroes and Dragons a couple of days ago. It was the only Zoid they had, and that made me somewhat disappointed, but then I saw the price. $24.98. I said to myself, "Oh, man...I'm so buying this." And I did. I immediately fell in love with it. I briefly contemplated selling it, but then I changed my mind. That beautiful box art beckoned to me, and I opened the box and engaged it it's construction.

A very interesting build, with lots of actions. When the switch is flipped, he walks forward, the wings expand and contract (They don't really flap), the guns move back and forth, and the head rears up and back down. I love the chrome pieces, expecially the cannons and the head blade. And, as with all original Zoids of the Helic Republic, it comes with a gold chrome pilot. For some reason, the cockpit seat can be removed. I think it might be for the Eye Flasher Grade-Up.


As far as the design goes, Orudios is a very unique Zoid. I never thought I would say this, but I actually like the color scheme better than TZ Evil Pegasus. The battle story tells of the Guylos empire's Gilvaders, in the moment of their triumph, being dive bombed by the Orudios. I can just imagine the shiny, almost epic Pegasus Zoids flying gracefully, yet furiously down through the clouds...ready to impale some Gilvy!!! *Stairway to Heaven plays*


In short, this is a great Zoid. I was lucky enough to find mine MIB, so I didn't miss out on such a great build. This is one of the few Zoids I own that I actually applied the stickers to and trimmed alot of the flash (I usually don't mind these things)
Orudios will always have a special place on my shelf, as well as in my favorite zoids list. Gunguyrados, here I come!!!

Great luck you had with Orudios, and I am glad that you didn't buy it just to jack up the price on eBay or to other members here.

If anything goes with Orudios song-wise, it's Deep Purple's Stormbringer. The cover even has the rainbowy pegasus that was my avatar for a while...and it's all doomy and stuff.

...and I know, I'll get around to fanbook 5's ending. Sometime.

The removable eyes is indeed for the blinky lights, most gradeups thus have 'em. Some of them are particularly escape-prone, too >_>. I'm glad to see an Orudios find a loving home after ages locked in a box...and I confess like it better than EP too. *runs from fans*

*edit* And that last pic makes me happy. Too often I see Orudios photoed just standing there, that shot's all dynamic.

I think that the climax of Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven fits him rather nicely. You know, the part with the guitar solo that comes before he sings, "and as we wind on down the road-"
And some Twisted Sisters would do nicely as battle music for him.
I think that people photograph Orudios like that because their too afraid to position him any other way, as he's pretty old. I had to disconnect the leg from one of the pegs to stand him like that. I kinda accidentally forgot to connect the neck armor halves to one of the holes, so it looks kinda wonky.
*Edit* I remember that avatar!!! It was cool. Oh, and in Transformers: The Movie, there is a song called "You've got the touch". That Reminds me of Orudios.

I could see why...I should have kept it closed and sold it to somebody who actually really wanted it. I didn't want it until I saw the beautiful box art. Thanks to Orudios, I'm on a grade up zoid kick now. Great, I see what you mean now, nameless. Zoids come, money goes.

If you understand well, don't rub it in too much, it's like putting salt on people's wounds.

You already made the decision just like any other members here when you got the Zoids you wanted. There are a limited supply of Zoids out there, so pick the ones that you like the most, or let others know to give them an opportunity. Just don't hold it and build it, and later to regret it in front of others, that really pisses me off.

You are suppose to have fun with the Zoids that you got, and I am going to ask you once, did you have fun getting and building Orudios?
