EZ-036 Death Stinger

I just got my Death Stinger in the mail that I ordered from jedi bill's on Ebay, And let me just say that I am very impressed. When the tail is extended, it's about 18 1/2 inches long, which is, needless to say, big. Very big. I think I like it best out of all the scorpion-type zoids that tomy has produced. It's certainly better than the Guysack, which might as well be called a walking junkpile. that's not to say that I don't like the Guysack, it's just that the brown colorscheme and exposed innards are really underwhelming. Anyway, the Death Stinger is clad in thick plastic armor and is armed to the teeth. Believe me, I've played Zoids: Battle legends, and I practically went insane trying to beat it. It sports conceiled claw vulcan guns, death beam guns mounted on either side of the charged-particle beam gun tail, heavy alloy (plastic) claws, sharp mandibles, swimming thrustor blades, and conceiled blades in the claw armor. When you flip the switch, he walks forward, (jerkily, but very scorpion-like) his pinchers...pinch, his mandibles chomp, and his eyes light up! If you get the chance to purchase him, he's well worth it. He may not be my favorite, but he is certainly awesome.

GOOD: He's packed with features and is relatively inexpensive.

BAD: The walking motion is a bit jerky, and the legs are difficult to assemble right so they don't lock up

ODD: I'm not a big fan of the blue/red color scheme. It reminds me of spider man!

I notice your pics are very small, with the links you can go as high as 1064*860 (am I correct?). Otherwise if you posted in your topic you can go up to 500 pixels in width.

This is your own Zoids collection, you gotta have pride in showing them to everyone. So make the pics a bit larger for everyone to see.

Consider getting a CP-16 to control this. It is practically a must so that you can see it move forward, backward, and turn.

I agree, but I, unlike most people apparently, don't have money falling out of my butt. People are just buying OJRs and OERs left and right like $175 is like a penny find on the ground...grrr...

It isn't that much only $5 + some shipping at tisinc's store it is fun using it with it.

_{You could have probably gotten both the Cp-16 and Death Stinger together for less at tisinc's then the cost of the Death Stinger alone from Jedi Bill but I guess it is a bit late now.}

You should think about buying a CP16. This controler was made for Deathstinger, and you will spend hours playing with it. Most of all, you will miss all the special movments if you don't have one.

The flash, oh the flash. (by flash, i mean the plastic left over from the sprue) Cut the peices from the sprue more closely... its almost like you lfet the sprue ON the Zoid. T-T;

Back to the Deathstinger, which so totally rocks, and, well, just rocks. I think the design is awesome, the tail is awesome, and the colors are... awesome. And, to top it all off, I got mine for 6 bucks, at a KB toys.
