Hi guys Big thanks to Doc Liem Zoids, got this kit straight from Singapore. The box measures 350 x 300 x 45(mm), see comparison pics with CP-21 and actual height measurement. The TDP Helic Memorial Box 1983 contains RMZ-01 Garius, RMZ-02 Glidoler, RMZ-03 Elephantus, RMZ-04 Gurantula and RMZ-05 Aquadon. We start the review on RMZ-01 Garius. Originally released back in 1983 under the following line (text extracted from Phenotype's Zoids Checklist): - RMZ-01 Garius, Original Japan Release (OJR) - “Unnamed”, Original American Release (OAR) or more commonly referred to as Robostrux - Tyrannozoids, Original European Release (OER) - Garius, Pullback Zoids - Yellow Tyrannozoid, Zany Zoids Front Box Back Box Contents. The instruction manual has a feel of “vintage”, color-wise. It is off-white and lil thick. It comes with aluminum foil sticker sheet and chrome gold pilot. Built RMZ-01 Garius When you wound the motor, it walks in 2s and the arms moves up and down. Not much gimmick for this lil critter. Also, among the 5 TDP White Heads this 1 is under-armed. Not much to complain though since this is a 1983 design. Plastic quality is good and the white head is not really white but off-white. The only bummer is that it is released by Toys Dream Project. This kit should be mass-released so all Zoider’s can get the chance to own this cute and nice piece. If you have spare money, this kit is a good buy and a nice addition to your Zoids collection. Note that this is the 1st few model kits that started the Zoids Line. Cheers to everyone. Dri1

Review: RMZ-02 Glidoler. Originally released back in 1983 under the following line (Text extracted from Phenotype's Zoids Checklist): - RMZ-01 Garius, Original Japan Release (OJR) - “Unnamed”, Original American Release (OAR) or more commonly referred to as Robostrux. From Phenotypes Forum: The Glidoler was released as a promotional or giveaway item in a bag rather then a box. It had no name. The mould is actually a re-colour of the OER Terrared, as it has a “clam head” canopy. - Terrazoid, Original European Release (OER) - Glidoler, Pullback Zoids Front Box Back Box Contents. Same with RMZ-01 Garius the instruction manual has a feel of “vintage”, color-wise. It is off-white and lil thick. It comes with aluminum foil sticker sheet and chrome gold pilot. Built RMZ-02 Glidoler The gimmick on this Zoids kit is remarkable for a 1983 design. The gear mechanism are all interconnected to the wind-up motor thus when you wound it the wing flaps & the wheel rotates. The 2 “large” feet makes a funny sound when it’s moving being hollow and big. Reminds me of Madthunder having this same sound as well. As mentioned in RMZ-01 Garius review, plastic quality is good and the white head is not really white but off-white. Looking at the Glidoler (1983), the Engineering concept can be seen on some of bird-type Zoids such as Raynos (1988) & Pteras (Puterasu 1986). But Glidoler beats both on “gear mechanism” department. Cheers to everyone. Dri1

Review: RMZ-03 Elephantus Originally released back in 1983 under the following line (Text extracted from Phenotype's Zoids Checklist): - RMZ-02 Elephantus, Original Japan Release (OJR) - “Unnamed”, Original American Release (OAR) or more commonly referred to as Robostrux. - Protozoid, Original European Release (OER) - Elephantus, Pullback Zoids - Orange Protozoids, Zany Zoids Front Box Back Box Contents. Same with RMZ-01 Garius & RMZ-02 Glidoler the instruction manual has a feel of “vintage”, color-wise. It is off-white and lil thick. It comes with aluminum foil sticker sheet and chrome gold pilot. Built RMZ-03 Elephantus When you wind up the motor, Elephantus walk in 4s wherein the 2 front legs' extended above it's back thus the 2 ears is hooked in it. So when in walking motion the ears flaps as well. Looking at the built Elephantus, it's hard to determine if it's really an Elephant or a Dog since this is a 1983 design Zoids I look at it as a Fozzilised Version  Cheers to everyone dri1

Review: RMZ-04 Gurantula Originally released back in 1983 under the following line (Text extracted from Phenotype's Zoids Checklist): - RMZ-04 Gurantula, Original Japan Release (OJR) - “Unnamed”, Original American Release (OAR) or more commonly referred to as Robostrux. - Spiderzoid, Original European Release (OER) - Gurantula MKII, MZ Zoids - Gurantula, Pullback Zoids - Tarantulon, Zoids2 (thanks to kamadoma for this info) Front Box Back Box Contents. Same with RMZ-01 Garius, RMZ-02 Glidoler & RMZ-03 Elephantus the instruction manual has a feel of “vintage”, color-wise. It is off-white and lil thick. It comes with aluminum foil sticker sheet and chrome gold pilot. Noticeable too that 2 Sprues were used in RZ-002 Guysack, namely the body & lower frames holding the 4 legs. Built RMZ-03 Gurantula If you have a RZ-002 Guysack, RZ-019 Double Sworder & EZ-018 Saicurtis features/gimmicks basically the same with Gurantula. As mentioned in reviews above, plastic quality is good and the white head is not really white but off-white. What makes RMZ-03 Gurantula special is that it is the only wind-up “Spider-Type” Zoids released. The other spider zoids are all Blox: BZ-102 Cannon Spider & CBZ-04 Harpers. Cheers to everyone. dri1

RMZ-05 Aquadon Originally released back in 1983 under the following line (Text extracted from Phenotype's Zoids Checklist): - RMZ-05 Aquadon, Original Japan Release (OJR) - “Unnamed”, Original American Release (OAR) or more commonly referred to as Robostrux. - Aquazoid, Original European Release (OER) - Aquazoid, Zoids2 - Aquadon, Pullback Zoids Front Box Back Box Contents. Same with RMZ-01 Garius, RMZ-02 Glidoler, RMZ-03 Elephantus & RMZ-04 Gurantula the instruction manual has a feel of “vintage”, color-wise. It is off-white and lil thick. It comes with aluminum foil sticker sheet and chrome gold pilot. Also included 2xstyro-foams to make it float in the water (haven’t tried it). EZ-032 Sinker also has the styro on it’s missile tubes. Built RMZ-05 Aquadon When you wound up the motor, it runs in wheels & the two(2) legs flaps together doing a “swimming motion”. The head can manually lift 0° to 90°. As mentioned in reviews above, plastic quality is good and the white head is not really white but off-white. No other Frog-type Zoids ever released than RMZ-05 Aquadon, thus, owning this kit is a must. Now if TDP will release the rest of the white heads, then it’ll be cool: - RMZ-06 Gorgodos - RMZ-07 Hydocker - RMZ-08 Pegasuros - RMZ-09 Spiker - RMZ-10 Furolesios - RBOZ-01 Bigasaurus Cheers to everyone. WOw, ZOids in the old days sure use few sprues... Nice review by the way... Do you have any Pros or Cons like being pricey, etc?

Guysack actually comes with everything Gurantula does, even his cockpit is packaged in with the NJR.

WOw, ZOids in the old days sure use few sprues... Nice review by the way... Do you have any Pros or Cons like being pricey, etc? Thanks kyubigan Being it a 1983 design, I don't have a gripe on it. If you compare this design with some new release Zoids you'll be able to appreciate it's simplicity. Price-wise at least on my side got it just OK. A nice Zoider from Singapore offered it to me with a great price including shipping that when I computed it ended same like ordering from either Amenbo or HLJ. dri1

Glidoler wins in the mechanism department, I agree. It's so simple but so cool and foot-tappy. Though Cosmozoid's cool too...if you get one, you should get the other, since Cosmozoid is like the Blade Liger to Glidoler's Shield Liger-without any leftover bits!

Nice pictures. :-) Saicurtis and Double Sworder walk on little stubby bits at the base of their legs. Also, only 4 of their 6 legs actually move, the other 2 are fixed and are purely decorative. Garantula beats them both since he walks on all 8 of his legs.

Hmm, think I used the same seller as you. (HLJ cancelled my order which was well annoying cos I pre-ordered them really early).
Was so pleased with my set when it finally did arrive, I bought a second one as soon as the 1st arrived!! They're dead quick to build & very cute from a modern perspective & then there's the fact that they really make you nostalgic if you bought them 1st time round. THey're also featured heavily in the old UK comic, so you really cannot go wrong with multiple copies.
Have to say my modern ones move a lot better than I can remember my old ones doing 1st time around. Mebbe I overwound them. My Aquadon/Zoid never used to work on land, but the noew one works fine & swims really well too & my 1st Tyrannazoid/Garius never walked right at all.
These zoids really are ace- I agree it's a great shame they arent mass produced. Cannot wait for the Zenenbas set- I might even get 3 sets rather than 2.

I admit having those guys in 1 box is awesome though looking over my payoal receipts for the past year I found that I got all of them plus a complete mantazoid, cosmozoid and a trooperzoid for the same price go figure.
