Hurricanehawk has finally made it to the philippines!
designated NBZ-03, hurricanehawk is the third zoid that combines to form BiteGriffon.
a Hawk type zoid, this zoid's weaponry include: bombs on its wings, a small dual barrel gun on its belly, and a blade near its tail.
build time took 45mins aprox. for me since the new joint system (balls+cups) is abit tedious to assemble.
after building you get a bird type zoid with white wings and 2-tone blue armor (blue and light-blue).
some people tend to hate the doublewing design of this zoid but i think its awesome..
one weird thing about this kit are the leftover parts from the sprue that contains the legs.
this kit features 4 legs on its sprues but you'd end up using just 2.
one thing that dissapoints me about this NB line is the fact that none of them have stickers included..
Im not sure if its TakOMY cost cutting or if theyre just too lazy to design new sticker sheets. It would have been nice to get stickers of the new faction symbols..
posseability is awesome but i have noticed that the wing joints tend to slide out as some time passes..
the good:
awesome poseability, cool colorscheme, nice wings, great head sculpt,
the bad:
no stickers, weird placement of the blade.
the weirdo:
extra legs

some stuff to note:
1) the HH in the pictures has been stickered with extra stickers from my collection.
2) the HH in the pics does have RED optics. i used a sharpie(TM) to give it the deffinition between the cockpit and the optics
3) some detailing has been done to the gold pcs with a black sharpie(TM)
4) the stand is custom made by me to display HH in a flying pose just like my other bird-zoids
5) the connectors on the outer wings have been cut-off to give it a cleaner look... (i cant remember who did this on thier HHawk, but it was copied from that)
