Fire Fox[/SIZE]
Pardon if someone already reviewed this zoid, but i cant help it hehehe. So here goes.
Most of the guys i know, knows that the Shadow Fox is my fave zoids, so it is fitting that i get my hands on a Fire Fox right?
From the battle stories, the Fire Fox was developed by the Republic as an improved version of the Shadow Fox. Unfortunately, it was stolen by the empire. Hence, the Fire Fox has green eyes and a blue pilot, likewise a different sticker sheet.
Out of the box, you'd get a motor, a small plactic containing small parts (24 yellowish caps, sticker sheet, cockpit eyes, 2 gears and a pilot figure), 6 sprues (3 red, 1 gold, 1 dark brown, and 1 brownish gray, with silver painted details), Shadow Fox instruction manual, and some inserts.
As a note, the Shadow Fox gets black/metallic blue/silver/gray parts with gold details.
The red parts of the Fire Fox is similar to the red of Sauro Knights, abeit slightly lighter. The difference in shade is almost unnoticeable (atleast to me, that is).
Assembling the Fire Fox (or Shadow Fox) is fairly easy. The only difficulty i had was trying to minimize the scarring on some of the painted parts.
The Good:
- Concealed windup key.
- Eye catching color scheme.
The Bad:
- Painted parts are connected to the tree.
- Being a limited, its somewhat hard to comeby (and stressful to the wallet).
The Neutral:
- Its a windup
- And its a Fox!
The Conclusion:
I was thinking i'd be biased and give it a rating of 10 out of 10. But i realized that not everyone has the same taste of what they want in their collection. Nah! I think i'd be bias! You guys should have one too. 10 out of 10.
