Leon's Custom Red Blade Liger

Hi guys

Leon's Custom Red Blade Liger is (yet) another variant of Blade Liger. This is Zoids Magazine Limited Item, though Hasbro released it's own red Blade Liger.

The Box -- It's monochrome red but the lay out is the same with NJR RZ-028 & RZ-028F minus the figures.


Leon's Custom Red Blade Liger
- The shade of red is dull opposed to Hasbros orangey red
- This comes with the sprue containing Van, Fiona & Zeek
- The legs are black in color opposed to Hasbros gray
- The fangs & paws are made of metal opposed to Hasbros plastic

Using JUSCO Translucent Parts for BL






Here's a pics showing color comparison. As you can see the red blade liger look pale compared to PX-01 Hover Pilder



Most of here knows the Hover Pilder but for others who don't, it is a machine piloted by Koji Kabuto to operate Mazinger Z


I used the Voltes crewzer, panzer & mechanical eagle for color comparison

Hrm, doesn't look much different to my parts-swapped wannabe Japanese red, though that slightly less mad coral red is an improvement. I still wonder why it wasn't made a deeper red...

It looks better on the red than it does on the blue. :3

Question, though:

Will the Blade/Sheild liger fold-down arms fit in the Liger Zero's foldy places?

Ther is no way the ultimate bladeliger could fall!!Noooooooooooo!!! But anyway nice zoid the color is better. When I first got my blade liger hasbro it was kinda dissapointed but in the same sense happy because I thought blade liger was cool at the time.

Please can you confirm, as I see on the photo, that it is the Ban an Feene figures characters that are inside. We had this discussion before, and I was telling that my Leon BL has those pilots figures.

I like everything on it in comparison to the hasbro version....... i just like the red on the hasbro better, but i do like the black legs..... gives me an idea

dri1, nice review. I've yet to build my own Leon's BL. Those clear yellow Jusco parts are pretty cool. Perhaps its time for me to take the bus ride up to KL.

If this was Leon's Red Blade Liger, they shoulda made a Leon figure instead of using the same pilot figure again....
