FZ-017 Jet Falcon

This is the step by step review of the FZ-017 Jet Falcon which is basically the BZ version but with a different colour sceme.



Standard box art with the FZ double pictures on each side of the box.

Sprues



Contains 8 sprues sufficent number for a model like this, also I must note that the body is already prebuilt (due to the air pump)

Wings






The wings are generally 2 seperate pieces stuck together, it has not poseblity what so ever since Jet Falcon is meant to be used as Liger Zero Falcon's armor. Also you can see that the wingspan is pretty large.

Claws




They are comprised of 3 pieces stuck on a peg they can move, open and close though the one major drag is that the claws are made out of a soft plastic and can get bent out of shape very easily.

Final Product




This guy though coming in a tiny box when built he's massive. Like stated before his wings cant move except for the gold wing tips. You can also pull back the airpump and lower his claws down. His legs can be moved up and down also the feet can also move. The head on the other hand can only spin 360 degrees.

All in all a good set but if you dont got a Liger Zero dont bother getting it cause by itself its not that great a set but when combined it looks really good on it (liger zero has yet to be built stay tuned for updates) 8/10

I actually like Jet Falcon on its own...mine are mainly combined to save space and because I like Liger Zero Falcon's head.

And man, you make me want to get a Fuzors one and panel line it..or to panel line my Fuzors Saix to match the orange one I did with much difficulty (the bright orange did NOT like the markers). Heck, I need more Jet Falcons in general.

IMO this colour scemes the best, The BZ one is to generic in my opinion dont really dig the black and white.... And you should try investing on one of the Gundam Marker sets they're pretty useful though pretty expensive.

Also I should mention that the Jet Falcon FZ doesn't come with a pilot figure... dont know why though....

FZ Falcon's pilotless in the anime, so including one with the model would be odd. Nice catch, btw

I've seen one of these, and i had the original black/white falcon. it suffers from the same buster claws made up of soft, hard-to-paint plastic. it bends overtime and become bended as time goes.

i think, like phoenix, he is really made to be a cas, forced to stand on its own as a zoid.

I think Jet Falcon is one of the sleekest Zoids ever made. I love the cockpit design, and the details on the wings and tail. But the feet look crazy. I know its cos they convert to Liger claws.

Fusion wise, I prefer the BZ colour scheme, as the black and white suits the LZ better IMHO.

I like the other color of jet falcon a little better than the fuzors jet falcon. They are both cool though.
