If it were silver and shiny red with black trim it'd work. ZENEBAS DEATH KITTY.
If video games are to be believed, Descat can swim, Iguan can kick Gilvaders to death with Gustav for backup (yes, I was bored, why do you ask?), Kingliger/baron is completely immune to CPCs...

Update:
Was able to link up Diablo Tiger Beta (DTB) with Gameboy Advance (GBA) as a remote control. You will need BOTH the cartridge and special remote attachment to get the GBA to work as a remote control (there goes my assumption that you need just the attachment to work and hopes of selling off the cartridge heheheh ). You will need to create a character with a saved game to make it work (otherwise you will not get far in option 4, it won;t go beyond the character selection screen). It's a bit tough at first since the game is in Japanese. Here are the shotgun steps to set up yout GBA to work with DTB:
1. Attach both cart and special attachment to GBA
Creating a character: (PROCEED TO STEP 6 if you are done with this)
2. Select the first item in the main menu 3. Fill out the name of your character and your zoid in Japanese 4. Play the game for a few minutes, it's just mostly dialog (I had no idea when it was saving data) 5. Exit the game or in my case switch off then on again
6. On the main menu, select the 4th or LAST. 7. Select which character to use it and the game will take you to sub menu 4 8. Select the first item in this submenu 9. Select ID1 or ID2 (frequency for you to control DTB) 10. Switch on DTB to either 1 or 2 if you selected ID1 on GBA then DTB should be switched to 1 or if GBA=ID2 then DTB=2 11. Enjoy
When you're done setting up GBA screen will look like you are in the cockpit of DTB...cool IMHO.
Controls:
Up = moves DTB forward Down = moves DTB Backward B = swings front body left or right. To get the desired direction, you may need to tap or hold down this button until you get DTB's body to swing the direction where you need it to go. A = Fire the pellet gun
I have not really tested the max distance DTB can go before it goes beyond the range of the GBA remote...based on my initial findings...I was still able to control it 6-7 feet away.
There are also 3 other options in Submenu 4 that I have not tried...I will prolly not bother with them but I think 2 or 3 will let you reconfigure the controls.

I think this guy's armour would look good on a Liger Zero. It'd sure get rid of the brick its hauling around... And it'd make a good custom.

Diablo Tiger is a good deal smaller than a Zero...it's more gradeup sized than medium battery-op sized. I'm not quite sure how well that'd work...
