Diablo Tiger Beta happens to be a limited edition recolor of the Cyberdrive Zoids or CDZ-01 Diablo Tiger. Instead of the gray and lavender color...it is colored Metallic Red (similar in shade to the NJR Energy Liger) and Flesh.
Aside from which this Zoid came with the Zoids Cyberdrive Gameboy Advance Game. I am not really sure if the game was the main product and the Zoid was a freebie or vice versa or both were the focus.
OUT OF THE BOX:
Big White box holds Diablo Tiger Beta itself. While the small box contains the Gameboy Advance cartridge and the special attachment to the Gameboy advance to control this Zoid or any other Cyberdrive Zoid

Documents:
Noticeably the card (lower left) that usually comes with ltds or japanese made Zoids is printed in black which is a first for me ...normally it is printed in blue.

Parts:
Who said that the Genesis Ligers were the first to have pre built bodies...the Cyber Drive Zoids are the first. Noticeably the remote isn't included since if you have a gameboy and the special attachment...you won't need the remote but I wish they included it though

THE FINISHED PRODUCT:

Did I mention that the eyes can glow both red and green? When I switch it on...it blinks red and green which means it is awaiting a command from its remote. I also forgot to mention that the switch is similar to the Berserk Fury. You can select 1 or 2 but they don't mean that this guy has two modes...you're actually switching the frequency to use...good especially when you're battling another Cyberdrive Zoid. I can't really explain the controls yet since I have to test it out with a remote or by trying it via Gameboy Advance.
One other thing....this Zoid body is segmented...meaning there is a swivel joint on its body.

Cockpit:

Surprisingly Diablo Tiger has some other gimmicks like the head blades and there are hatches on the front shoulders...From what I researched...opening it means it is activating its shields. Also you can open and close the mouth.
Size comparison with other Tigers:
As you can see it is similar in size to the Whitz Tiger.

The Good:
- Remote Controlled
- Light up eyes
- Shoots BBs
- Has other gimmicks
The Bad:
- looks a bit too alienish
- body is a bit blocky...I wish Tomy made it more streamlined
- No remoted included
- pricey especially if you didn't get this in an assortment
- some wires can be seen at the neck area
I haven't really completed this review yet since I have to test out controlling this thing so stay tuned for more updates....
