What is it with Tomy and insanely coloured limited eds? I mean, for all you may whinge about Hasbro Zoid recolours, they’re nothing on some of the more deranged limiteds, like Crystal Lord Gale, Rokaru Molga and this guy, Whitz Tiger Imitate. WTI has an interesting story. He began life as some sort of convention or hobby store exclusive. Then got another run. And another. Then got dumped all over SE Asia (Singapore in particular) at insanely low prices. And that’s before we get to his colours… But Whitz Wolf and Savinga are a great pair of models. Whitz Woof is pretty cool for a rather simple design, and has surprisingly good motion for a “stiff leg” Zoid. Savinga, OTOH, is considered by some to be the best small Blox evar. So can the so-called “Cheese Whitz” stand up to this legacy? We shall see… Creamy Cheesy Good:Well, he’s already based off Whitz Woof and Savinga. So that’s a huge leg-up to start with. If you like those two – and you’d have to have swallowed a bucket of angry pills not to – then you will definitely find something to love in this kit. And as for the colours well… they’re unique, to say the least. The orange creates a nice “tigery” colour, a lot closer to a real tiger then either Zaber Fang (lemony yellow) or Gul Tiger (Banana yellow with orange trim). Furthermore, the brown body and limb parts work well with it, creating a very effective yet very different colour scheme. And the Bronze parts, like the Savinga Wings, are a very nice touch, giving it a nice offset. Cheesy Cheesy Bad:Some may find Whitz Wolf’s construction to be a little too simple, but that’s really the limit of it. The biggest “bad” point is likely the colours. They could be considered to be a bit too cheesy for some. Also, the canopy and eyes blend into the body a bit too much, making them a bit hard to see.. especially on Savinga. Creamy Creamy Cheesy Cheesy Ugly. Cheesy Cheesy:Okay, lets be blunt. He looks like a big ol’ block of cheese. If you don’t like orange, then you won’t like this guy at all. In conclusion, I can recommend this model. It’s a nice variation of a helluva cool pair of kits. If you like Whitz Woof and Savinga, then you’ll like this guy. That you can nowardays pick up WTI for about the same – or less – as a Savinga on its own probably helps a bit. Rick R. (Creamy creamy cheesy creamy)

I have never really liked the fact that he has brown legs,i have no problem with the yellow but i don't like the brown'es legs. Maybe if they were black of a darker Grey like the sword and normal wolf i would contemplate on getting him or not,but at the moment i dought i will get him.

Yurei and I both agree. The yellow and pink is a crime against Zoidism.

*Glares* *Glares again* Ahem.. I just bought one of these off of Ebay, and I'm glad I did. Though I had no idea about the one-piece legs.

That's why I still I call it a modern grade-up...one-piece legs yet somehow fun, spinny port...
And I love the colors on Cheese Whitz too...even from a serious standpoint. I was expecting far more blinding. The brown looks better in person than black or grey would, I think...

It would probably look a lot better with lots of black panel lining.

I really like that color, it's nice and gold... warm gold color. What I hate is how the box was just a black-and-white picture of Whitz Tiger with parts of it photoshopped an ugly lemonade yellow. That was misleading

i still prefer the white whitz wolf because it looks more elegant/stunning but as a fuzed zoid i prefer the lump'o'cheese it looks more natural (term natural being used extremely losely)

If there was one thing that would really enhance the look of any version of Whitz Tiger , Whitz Wolf and Savinga...that would be panel lines since they wouldn't look so drab without it. If you can grab a 2nd set for stand alone versions..it would be really worth it.

Yeah, I just realized I forgot to take those out. I threw them in there when I made my own Buster Fuhrer.
