Murasame Liger (TRU Japan Special Edition)

The colours are, to be honest, quite nice and the pic I've taken doesn't do them justice. The gold mane spikes, the main body and all the dark brown bits are still the same colour but the blue has become metallic and slightly more green, the cockpit has become light blue and the white parts are now a slightly creamier colour. The cockpit IMO looks a bit strange but I can imagine this as being some kind of aquatic specification of Murasame Liger.
It also comes with a really nicely detailed little Ruuji figure. I hope this is a continuing trend and Tomy will release limiteds of all the main Zoids with their characters.
Ze Bad
Nothing new, but as you nodoubt already know, the main body segment, blade fixtures and legs come prebuilt. The blade is also made from a horrible squidgey plastic and has a little safety nub at the end which really ought to be shaved off. And the white detail stickers for the legs/mane are crap.
Ze Odd
Despite no other mold changes that I can spot, the piece of armour that fits above the tail now has 'OFF ON' added on it like Hayate Liger. I don't know if this is specific to the limited Murasame or if the regular Murasame now comes with this change too.
Conclusion : Moderately Recommended
