Snipe master Blue Platoon is a limited, recolored snipe master that for a limited time was sold with copies of Zoids Versus I for GC. It has several very nice custom stickers and the box is similar but not identical to the standard snipe master's. It includes the Blue Unicorn Platoon symbol and what I assume is the pilot depicted on the box. Just like the regular snipe master it comes with two different sets of caps, one orange and one blue as well as two different pilots.
As for colors, it has red, yes RED eyes. w00tness for teh sexy red eyes! Anyway, it has red eyes, a white body with OMGMYEYESAREBURNING gravity saix orange arms and legs and dark brownish-black tail and claws and details. Unlike gravity saix imho though, BP wears the colros quite well. Maybe because there's less of it to do retina damage...
The good:
It's a snipe master! What more do you need, seriously? Snipe master is one awesome little fellow, and i'd own a whole pack of them if I could afford it.
As well as being a tastey, recolored snipe master he gets new custom stickers and box art. And it appears that the limited CP 26 was made for this fellow, which is odd considering that the CP package depicts it being used only on hammer rock. But regardless, the blue matches the caps perfectly.
The bad:
He's a limited and thus going to be harder to find and more expensive. In fact, I went looking for one and couldn't find one anywhere I saw one on ebay a couple months ago, but that's about it these days. I heard that quite a few people don't like the color, so maybe a lot of people got rid of theirs. Who knows. As far as limiteds go he's not all that expensive, although $40ish range is a lot for a small windup. I got lucky and got mine from a friend, and he's definately worth it.
The ugly:
Mould design flaws. Uhg. He has one REALLY annoying one located in one of the body halves. It's a snipe master thing though, not a BP as I had problems with my other two snipe masters. The peg usually has to be shaved down a bit because it's like the mould overflowed, and it won't fit in the hole to snap the body together. It's fairly quick and simple to fix though luckily. BP had this problem the worst for me out of my snipe master variants.
The other annoying thing about snipe masters in general is they share the "floppy cockpit syndrome" along with rev raptor. Meaning, the pilots are prone to falling out if moved.
Yurei's Conclusion:
Recomended for the collector with distinctive tastes, or for the snipe master lover. If you love snipe master you need one of these with limited CP 26.
