My Bio-Tyranno has a posse at last! First up is Bio-Tricera:
This three horned horror is articulated at the lower jaw, neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, ankles, and four segments in the tail. He's easily the most realistic ceratopsid Zoid to date, albeit with a few creative liberties. His three horns as well as the spikes lining his frill are vastly oversized and the tip of his tail is forked for some reason. I was a little worried that the two gold brow horns would be Berserk Fury-level floppy, but fortunately this is not the case.
B-Tric's sounds consist of a couple of gutteral roars, a firing sound, and a metallic clanging, probably meant to represent his horns being launched as on the show.
Next is Bio-Kentra:
Watch you don't cut yourself on this guy; he's got more sharp edges to him than a regiment of Samurai! Long, sharp spikes run along his entire spinal column, plus there's the two huge pivoting blades on his shoulders This guy could bring agonising pain to Deadly Kong simply by running between his legs!
BK is articulated at the lower jaw, head, neck, shoulders, shoulder blades, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, ankles, and four segments in the tail. He can rear up on his hind legs just like a real stegosaur wanting to feed on tree leaves. His sounds consist of a deep growl, a metallic clank, and what may be spikes launching from his body. Just have to wait and see what happens on the show.
Last up is Bio-Ptera:
BP is by far the smallest of this trio. His main body is actually smaller than that of Ptera Striker's. To make up for that, his wingspan is nearly the length of Bio-Tyranno when fully extended. The translucent blue wing membranes are positively gorgeous, especially when BP is held in front of a light.
BP is articulated at the lower jaw, head, neck, hips, knees, ankles, and at four segments in each wing. His body is much too small to house electronics, so instead they're housed in his stand. When BP is mounted on his stand, the flashing red light is projected through the half-sphere on his chest. His sounds consist of screeching, wing flapping, and a jet engine powering up.
If you loved Bio-Tyranno, then you'll certainly love these three. I've got Grimlock, Slag, Snarl, and Swoop; all I need now is for Tomy to release a Bio-Sauropod of some kind so's I can have a Sludge.
